Taking the year-end by storm, YuiKaori did a marvelous Kabedon (壁ドン lit. Wallpush) in their 2014 Live Tour, HEARTY PARTY! In its last day in Makuhari Messe, Chiba. We previously translated a detailed live report by 1523-san. The concert was also released in DVD and BD last June 3, 2015. Leveling up their friendship, gay, bonds, the audience had managed to persuade the two to create their own versions of the popular ‘Kabedon.’ Not to mention, in this release, we also manage to learn more about their favorite phrases/buzzwords in the year 2014!

Some of the notes in the videos are too short to fit the correct meaning. Below are an expounded version of them.

Notes:

Suspension Bridge Effect – The suspension bridge effect is a “misattribution of arousal”, in which someone experiences the effects of fear of a physical danger while meeting someone, and mistakenly believes that the other person is the cause of their physical responses (such as elevated heart rate, shortness of breath).  Source

O-prefix – O- is often added before the name of the person to express respect and politeness to that person. Source

Ishihara Kaori often calls Yui-chan, “O-Yui-san” or “Ogura-san” as part of her playful personality towards her.

Kabedon (壁ドン) – “kabe” meaning “wall” and “don” being the sound of someone hitting a hard object–like a wall. Source

There are different kinds of don as well. Such as yukadon (床ドン), Beddon (ベッドドン）etc. You may read this article to find out more.

Yui-chan most definitely does not want your shiitake anywhere near her face, ever, but good thing our friendly neighbor (literally), Carrie-san got her covered! Or… not?

Gekitotsu! YuiKaori! (激突！ゆいかおり！ / Clash! YuiKaori! ) – is a new radio corner that was introduced late 2015 to make our favorite duo battle out each other and do embarrassing or not-embarrassing punishment games. The rule is they battle it out every week and the first one to reach five points wins and the loser’s gonna do a punishment game suggested by a mailer.

In one of the more recent cuter punishment game, King Record’s Promotion Staff Officer Ebata-san AKA Ebatein was tasked to buy a “weird t-shirt” for Yui-chan to wear on set for her 2nd punishment game…

Since it didn’t seem to be much of a punishment game… they made her wear glasses. What’s so weird with a “WIN” (勝利) t-shirt anyway?

Everything ended up being cute instead. Bless YuiKaori Staff Twitter for all the updates! (Don’t forget to follow them!)

YuiKaori no Mi♪Radio (YuiKaori’s Seed♪Radio [literal translation] / ゆいかおりの実♪ラジオ) is their on-going radio show that airs at 24:30JST, on Sundays. It is currently on their 101st episode, the show was renewed into the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting from its video equivalent YuiKaori no Mi♪Digital that aired until 2014, under Chou A&G+.

A yuri character (百合キャラ) is actually a character who is only into girls exclusively, and most of the time they’re somewhat perverts. They’re also those who are evidently just into girls, blatantly. Good examples of a yuri character would be Noda Kotone and Minami Shizuku from Sakura Trick, for being up-front with their relationship and then Haruka and Michiru from Sailor Moon (canon lesbians yo).

In this video, mailers accused Ishihara Kaori, Carrie-san of being a yuri character and it had gotten Ogura Yui, Yui-chan very confused as to why these mails exist, and if this happened somewhere she didn’t know. (No, Ogura-san, it didn’t.)

So, you judge. Is Carrie-san a Yuri Character?

※ There may be some inconsistencies, but please bear with it. We’re still in the middle of experimenting a typesetting style that we’re very comfortable with. On another note, if you have comments, do not hesitate to let us know!

Speaking of yomogi… if I recall correctly, there was one instance where she said her partner, Kaori-chan, was like yomogi to her. Hm, hm, hm.

It seems that font muxing had an accident and some fonts do not work properly. Please download our font zip and install the fonts to view the maximum quality of the font styling!

To install fonts in Windows 7: Go to C:WindowsFont and just copy paste or drag the fonts into the Font folder.

To install fonts in Windows 8: Double click the file and click Install. Do the same for the rest!

We might use the same fonts for our future releases so it’ll be good to keep them! On another note, next time we’ll make sure to not mess up with the font attachments. Thanks for bearing with us!

———————————————————————————————

Hi! We’re back! Immediately, like literally 30mins after releasing our extremely low quality first release, someone stepped up and helped us with out typesetting so we decided to pull out all the releases and re-release it at a later date… which is today! A day before NEO SIGNALIFE is released! Anyhow, we present, Ogura Yui’s Encouragement of Yomogi – First Part!

I’m sure you’re asking. “Why Encouragement of Yomogi?” This is a literal translation of “Yomogi no Susume,” which was the name of the lisani corner dedicated to Yui-chan’s recent obsession with yomogi. This is also in the subtitles! We have retained “Yomogi no Susume.”

Please enjoy this release!

I bet you do, it was cute as hell, after all.

After getting a Bluray rip resource for the BUNNY FLASH!!! concert, we have decided to release a 1080p version of the aforementioned subtitled video! いいでしょう？ラッキーイエイ～ (Great isn’t it? Lucky! Yay~)

[MediaFire] | [MEGA]

Until we’ve figured out a way to encode HD things into MP4, the HD releases will remain downloads only. meGUI has been a problematic thing and it keeps on giving the “your restrictions are too restricted, they will be ignored” whenever I try to encode an ASS file to MP4, and only let me to encode MVK with ASS files. This might affect our future releases because Satsunyan has short patience to things that bring her bad luck. If push comes to shove, Seiyuuri releases of long videos (such as the pending Yomogi no Susume, or the 55minute YuiKaori Marugoto 100% and Radio Gaiden nico namas) will be download only.

We’re still thinking if we would release long video releases into torrents! Are we even a good subbing team to do that? Ha Ha Ha~

If you do have guides on how to encode an ASS to into an MP4 format, please do not hesitate to comment it below! It will be very helpful!

That’s all. Well then, はばないすね～ (There’s no width) [Have a nice day~]
