As we have been saying in our twitter and other articles, we went to YuiKaori’s Live in Pacifico Yokohama last January 2nd and 3rd! Happy New Year to everyone! Since it would be quite long of a report to cover both days, we will just compile the highlights we have posted in our twitter, but expound onto more details! Also, as we have already announced in twitter, YuiKaori’s Tour will be extended, this time, it will be held in Nippon Budoukan on March 12, 2016 titled “YuiKaori LIVE Rainbow Canary!! ~Brightest Stage~”

It is an important announcement! In a blog post by Ogura Yui in 2011, they went to watch Tamura Yukari’s live and dreamed and aimed to perform in Budoukan as well. After 5 years, the dream is finally coming true! It is definitely thanks to everyone’s support and hard work! Congratulations, YuiKaori! Let’s work even harder this year to help the girls reach higher dreams from now on!

For information: Ticket Applications for the Budoukan Live started last January 3rd 8:30PM JST and it will end until January 12, 6:00PM JST.

Opening Movie

The opening movie was very cute. The two of them were walking in a field of greens when suddenly a box was dropped from the sky. From there they found cloth that said RAINBOW CANARY as they spelled it on the grass. Before the movie ends they realized that the “!!” were missing so they ran to the end of the words (near Y) and laid down the grass as the “!!” completing RAINBOW CANARY!!

1st MC

1/2 – For the first day of the live, they greeted everyone a happy new year (Akeomeminoru~) This MC opens with Yui-chan accidentally saying “Tokyo Live” instead of “Yokohama Live” she immediately corrects this, then greets everyone a happy new year again. Carrie-san then tells everyone to be careful not to get muscle pains because there is work on Monday.

1/3 – For the second day of the live, it is the same akeomeminoru~ but this time they started it with their “Stay Over” MC. Because the Yokohama Live is two days, they had to stay in Yokohama. Yui-chan explained how usually the staff books them a hotel room one for each, but since they often end up transferring to each other’s houses–room (yes she accidentally said house instead of room), this time the staff gave them a single twin room (too bad it wasn’t a double room -/slapped). Here, Carrie-san mentions how she got curious of Yui-chan washing her face, so she took a video of her removing her make-up. Let’s all wish she upload it somewhere maybe

Cue to the Future and Crystal no Chikai

These two are very old songs that we have never thought we’d ever see live, any of us. We were all glad we went and saw these two songs performed. They were truly remarkable.

Rainy Day

A special mention to Rainy Day. Since the stage was Pacifico Yokohama it was similar to BUNNY FLASH LIVE‘s setup. YuiKaori went up onto the higher stage and behind them the was a raining animation. Then the whole room had dimmed lights as warm spotlights were onto Yui-chan and Carrie-san. As they dance to the mellow song, you could see their shadows following the dances as well, it was a truly remarkable sight. Satsunyan called it the Shadow Dance because, more often you only see part of their shadows, but because of the spotlight effect, you can see their whole body’s shadow as they danced. It was very beautiful.

RAINBOW FIGHT – Jenga

First RAINBOW FIGHT is a battle of “Pride” since it is a battle of pride, there would be no prizes, but there is a punishment game. Yui-chan then gets really angry telling them that then it would be pointless if there wasn’t a prize for the winner. Yui-chan *pat pat*

For the first round, the two played Jenga. The jenga had the colors of the rainbow. Deciding who will go first by rock-paper-scissors, Carrie-san wins and so at first she opted to go for her image color, but since it was near the bottom and she is not confident in jenga, she decided to just forget about it and get anything. Meanwhile, Yui (the ever confident Yui-chan) said she is confident with the Jenga game. Yui-chan kept on trying to distract Carrie-san by going “Wah~” Every time she’s about to pull out a block. Yui-chan prz. The whole game continued on for a while with a few fast forwards here and there, until Yui-chan stops and says “Please excuse me…” after taking a block… and putting it on the top diagonally. !? Ogura-san!? And so, Carrie-san takes the next block and lines it up diagonally as well with an “Excuse me.” Near the end, Carrie-san decided to take a definitely impossible block near the bottom and of course, as we all expected the tower collapses and Yui-chan wins the challenge.

In their latest radio episode (Mi♪Radio 2016/01/03), a mailer asked why Carrie-san decided to take from that side. “As the older one, did you do that to let Yui-chan get the win?” Carrie-san jokingly said that “Yeah I let her win.” But Yui-chan insists that “That’s definitely not it!” So Carrie-san answers that there was one time she played Jenga, took from the same side and it didn’t fall. She thought that it was the same for that time as well. Too bad, Carrie-san.

Telephone Call

As per Carrie-san’s words since their Osaka Live, she said that Telephone Call’s color is definitely green (for the penlight/cyaleum). Her outfit top was a green sleeveless, cut short to reveal the mid-riff (glorious abs). She also wore a greenish/silver skirt with lots of sequins then a pair of gloves. The English lyrics for Telephone Call was really well pronounced, as expected of Carrie-san who has a really good knowledge of English ♡.

Ishihara Kaori Solo MC

1/2 – Carrie-san opens the MC by thanking all of us for using green penlight for Telephone Call. She then says that she said it should be green in Osaka but how come we knew about it. “Who told you about it?!” We were told via Twitter, Ishihara-san. It seems that fans has been calling Telephone and its song color a “Public Telephone” and it made her angry going “Why do you call it that way!?” She also praises us telling us that we all have gotten good at doing the penlight calls and stuff. Then someone says 「回って！」(Turn around!) And then she interestingly looks at the audience. She then remembers that Yui-chan said that “Everyone does like this turning around thing don’t they?” complete with a Yui-chan impression. So she gives us all a service and turns around slowly, showcasing her outfit. She then asks everyone what we did in the New Year’s. She tells us that she went to her Grandmother’s house and met with her young cousins. Last time she met them they were almost the same height as her… but this time around they’re all taller than her! Even though she’s the oldest, she’s eventually the smallest. She also went to COCOS and ate a beef hamburger plate of some sort. Then after that she played Monsuto (Monster Strike) with her older brother. Her brother asked her to help him with the boss, she got the bonus (Izanami) for that boss event, not just one, but two of it! Congratulations, Carrie-san who-always-suck-at-mobile-games!

1/3 – Carrie-san starts her Day 2 MC by saying that she has finally finished her graduation thesis! Yay~ Congratulations, Carrie-san! She says that it would be nice if she could graduate from College without any problems. Then, she remembers her song being called a public telephone and just goes “yeah, yeah sure” completely ignoring it. And then from there, we gave her the 「回って！」calls again. She complies again, but we did something she did not expect! We started a 「もう一回！！」(One more time!) call, completely surprising her. (Satsunyan started the call from her side and she was grateful that everyone followed. Thanks everyone!) Carrie-san was shocked to hear us wanting her to turn again, nonetheless, she said Okay and turned again, the other direction! Thank you for the service, Carrie-san! She then said that there was a map on the stage. She started asking everyone where they came from. She asked for people who came from Okinawa, from Hokkaido and such. Then… of course she asked of there are people who came from overseas, and of course we wildly went “OUUUUU!!!” And at first she wouldn’t believe it, but it’s true Carrie-san! She then says that she did see the flower stand we sent to them. It was a flower stand from overseas fans. Thanks for noticing us, Carrie-san!

Liar Sheep

Yui-chan came out right after Carrie-san’s Sunny Ray Beam. She was wearing a skirt with five color layers and a white 3/4 sleeved long tank top that has the top side of the sleeves cut off to show some skin. She was also wearing a white hat with silver sequins on the side. She was covered all throughout but somehow her outfit still seemed like she was showing a lot of skin. Bare legs game too strongk.

Ogura Yui Solo MC

1/2 – Yui-chan starts the MC by telling us that she worked hard with Liar Sheep’s choreography and it’s costume. She also tells us about her favorite dance step for Liar Sheep was the intro dance step where she moves her hands circular to the front, tipping her hat. It is very hard to explain so let’s leave it out. Then someone says 「回って！」Yui-chan then laughs saying “I heard Carrie-san’s MC earlier. You made her turn around, didn’t you?” Then chuckled. We also laughed as to thinking that it is very hard to make Carrie-san do such things, and she herself thought this as well. So Yui-chan asked us, “What direction did she turn at? How many times?” We told her she turned once, so she answered, “Okay, I will turn twice then.” The ever so competitive Ogura Yui-chan. She then asks us if we ate senbei, and other traditional Japanese sweets during the New Year. It was interesting since everyone answered yes, while the small number of us foreigners were all “Not yet~” We haven’t eaten it yet Ogura-san(*´д｀*) With that, Yui-chan talks about her recent boom with Youkai Watch Puni Puni. She explains how she has always seen this cat (Jibanyan) and wonders what kind of cat it and only discovered who it was after getting into Puni Puni. She also finishes her MC by saying that she bought the Jibanyan bread from the convenience store and it was really delicious. She also went to the children’s store and saw a Youkai watch Parka she really liked… Everyone asked if she bought it… She said that Komasan was really cute so she checked at the size… It was 100cm… but she thought that she’d be an adult and stopped herself from buying it.

1/3 – On the second day Yui-chan continues with the start of the same MC as the day before, but suddenly people were telling her to turn around. She puts her hand up and says “I got it, I will turn. Wait a minute, okay?” Since she hasn’t finished talking yet, it was funny. In any case, she did turn around, she said it was going to be a special version, so she turned around to the right, to the left then another complete turn. She turned around three times and ended it with a pose! The ever competitive Ogura Yui-san competed with Carrie-san’s two turns and made it with a three! Then she talks about the Seijinshiki (Coming of Age Ceremony), she asks everyone who will attend their seijinshiki and was surprised to find a lot of people who are the same age as her. She explained how she won’t be able to attend her seijinshiki but tells us that she will definitely be going home to wear a kimono. She mentions as well that her mother always picks her kimono. She also tells us that she likes that red kimono she wore and uploaded in her blog and encourages everyone to go check it!

-RAINBOW FIGHT – Sports Battle – (Strike Out / Original Triathlon / Sumo)

This one is a 3-part Sports battle. The first one is Strike Out. Similar to the strike out games in Baseball centers, this also involves throwing a ball towards a wall labeled with 1-9 in a 3 x 3 board. The number you hit will be your score. At first the two of them throw three balls each with all they got but they hit neither LOL. So they took about 2 steps closer to the board and decided to throw from there. Yui-chan goes first this time, she wasn’t able to hit anything, but on her second throw she hit 6! Sadly, her last throw didn’t hit anything. Yui-chan got 6 points! The next one is Carrie-san’s turn. With her first throw she was able to get 1, even though she aimed for 5. She still aimed for 5 and got 2. With two balls thrown, Carrie-san got 3 points! With one last ball remaining, she decided to aim for number 3. She was able to hit it… however! The ball didn’t go through it (it didn’t get knocked down) so she wasn’t able to get the 3 points! She cutely went to the board and asked it “Whyyyyy” Poor Carrie-san. The first of three battles goes to Yui-chan who is now leading with 3 points!

The second one is an original triathlon. It consists of Kangeta, Foot Massage Mat and Small Bicycle cycling. Kangeta is wearing a geta (Japanese traditional choose) while holding a string attached to it, then after that they have to walk over a foot massage pressure mat, then wear shoes and then ride the children’s bicycle to the goal. But with a twist! They’re wearing a helmet with balls inside it and the balls must not spill or it’ll make their points lower. The original triathlon then starts! Carrie-san gets a head start by being able to get into the geta quickly and reaching the end. Yui-chan gets left behind as she tells her “Wait for me~~” but she remains unheard. Carrie-san suffers a foot pressure attack as she walked onto the mat, by the time she finished the foot massage mat, Yui-chan was just around the finish line for the kangeta. Carrie-san was able to put on the shoes swiftly and sit on the bike as Yui-chan’s cute “Ouch~ It hurts~” can be hurt as she suffers the foot massage this time, as she still tells Carrie-san “Wait for me~”. Meanwhile, Carrie-san who was at the last stretched had problems… She was moving backwards with the small bike, instead of forward! However, Carrie-san gets over this small problem and finishes the race as Yui-chan was just starting to ride the bicycle. Yui-chan was half-way into the bicycle when she started looking at the camera and said “Hello Everyone, I’m Ogura Yui.” However, she accidentally drives to the wrong side and almost gets into the foot massage mat. She gets a bit stuck as she moves a little backward again, asking Carrie-san to “Help me~” Carrie-san immediately stands up from her bicycle but then realizes that if a ball falls out of her helmet while she’s helping her it’ll be her penalty, but nonetheless Yui-chan was able to overcome the hurdle and then she goaled~ Carrie-san’s Time was 1:10 with 36 balls, while Yui-chan was 1:56 with 37 balls. With the time difference, Carrie-san was awarded 23 points, being the winner in this round.

The last one is sumo. Everyone in twitter called this “lesbian sumo” “yuri sumo” “flirty sumo” to be honest, there is no better summary, but this. The two changed into jerseys and stood in front of each other like real sumo wrestlers. At first they started to push each other and no one was budging until… they started chasing each other around the ring. They both decided to re-start it as they panted, tired from all the running. Then, the hugging-forever, touch-everywhere, Carrie-san chasing Yui-chan around continued, until Carrie-san was able to push Yui-chan out of the ring. It was amusing how she didn’t let go of her hand until Yui-chan was safely on the ground. She tugged onto her hand to help her with her safe landing. Yui-chan lost the sumo with a question, “Are my bangs okay?” Carrie-san confirms for her that they are okay, and this battle was Carrie-san’s win.

With a final score of Yui: 43 and Kaori: 82, Kaori wins this round!

Calling Calling and Billion-Carat

There was a part of the choreography where Yui and Kaori would have to face each other and move their hand to the side. During Day 1, Carrie-san waves her hand at Yui-chan making her laugh. It was very cute. Meanwhile, Billion-Carat, as expected was a really fun song with all the random English word calls. It was very nice.

-RAINBOW FIGHT – Fashion Coordinate Theme: Going to Hatsumoude (1/2) – and -RAINBOW FIGHT – Fashion Coordinate Theme: Drawing For Fortune (1/3) –

The final Rainbow Fight is a fashion coordinate battle, but it’s not what you think it is! There are purely troll items and clothing for this section, so they have to create a coordinate and make sure they have enough reasoning to convince the fans that it is the better coordinate! They both have mannequins, Yui-chan’s mannequin is named Nijitaro and Carrie-san’s mannequin is named Nijinosuke.

For going to Hatsumoude, Carrie-san’s mannequin theme was “The style of a man from a hawaiian company” while Yui-chan’s was “A Rich Hatsumoude” Carrie-san’s mannequin was wearing hot pants, a Japanese white shirt and a white cardigan. Nijinosuke was also wearing some sunglasses while his hands was doing the aloha pose. While Yui-chan’s was wearing a whole suit, a belt and of course a necktie. Nijitaro’s leg was propped up on boxes as part of his pose.

Going back to the stage, there was a decibel recorder on the stage. The audience (us) will clap with all our might the louder one wins. With a difference of 90.1 and 90.3, Carrie-san wins! As it is a battle for pride, the punishment game is showing their embarrassing photos. In the screen, they showed a 2 -3 year old Yui-chan who was wearing a pink Winnie The Pooh shirt. It was very cute.

For going to draw a fortune theme, Carrie-san’s mannequin was wearing a full monkey outfit (since it was the year of the monkey), with a straw shawl, Nijinosuke’s left hand was bent in front of him with the sign for aloha, while his right hand was up for a peace. It looked like something similar to the Liberty’s pose. Carrie-san pls. It’s theme was “A collaboration with the sea and peace, a better fortune coordinate.” While Yui-chan’s mannequin Nijitaro was wearing all sorts of clothing while carrying two different masks on either hand. Nijitaro was also wearing an afro with a shower hat, a full monkey outfit since it was the year of the monkey, with a gold colored jacket for money fortune.

Yui: Carrie-san, do you know what is this?
Kaori: Huh? No? What?
Yui: *whispers* Afro.
Kaori: Oh, an afro.
Yui: Yes! And this, do you know this? *Yui-chan touches the shower cap on the afro hair*
Kaori: A shower hat? What is this? I don’t understand it.
Yui: Do you know what’s the meaning of this?
Kaori: I don’t–
Yui: That’s right! It’s YuiKaori! The afro and YuiKaori. Afro, afuro, afure, afureru. (アフロ、あふれ、溢れる）It’s overflowing with YuiKaori! It’s called “A Better Fortune YuiKaori”
Kaori: I don’t want to be involved in such a thing!

In case you do not understand, Yui-chan is making a wordplay (pun/dajare) for the word afro and the Japanese word “overflow” 溢れる

Either way, the decision on who wins is the same as the first one. Carrie-san had a score of 91.9 something while Yui-chan was down 88.6 something. Carrie-san wins this round again! This time’s embarrassing photo was of 8 – 9 year old Yui-chan wearing a Kappa outfit. Yui-chan explains that she still remembers it. It was her appearing in a stage play, while everyone was wearing a different outfit, she was the only one who was a Kappa. She told us that she still remembers the dance, so Carrie-san and all of us requested for her to show it to us. It was a very cute dance (*/ω＼*)

As a bonus, when Yui-chan was about to ask everyone to clap for her, she stumbled upon her words and Carrie-san tapped her lower back (around the waist) telling her to do her best.

Yui-chan also complained that out of 4 lives, she has lost three times even though she had been confident with all of her coordinates. Carrie-san then faced her and told her, “Well, that’s how it is.” Carrie-san pls.

New World

For New World, there is a part where the lyrics go “Woh Woh Woh Woh Woh Woh Woh Woh” the two of them asks everyone to sing it with them. They then segregate everyone to sing. The first floor sang, second floor, third floor, girls only, boys only and then everyone again. It was a very amazing song performance where everyone was united to sing with them.

Kimi no YELL and Tsubasa ni Naru Yo!

We have never thought to actually hear Kimi no YELL live… but to actually hear Tsubasa ni Naru Yo! to finally be performed live… it was a very complex feeling. It was a mixture of happiness and a lot of feelings of more happiness. Thank you for performing these songs, YuiKaori!

After this song they then have a short MC telling us all that the next two songs are the final songs. Hoshifuru Yoru no Happy Link and the title track Canaria as the last two songs. Of course, after that they did Encore calls and was given one more chance to see the two of them. <3

Heartbeat ga Tomaranai

During the Day 2 (1/3) live, Carrie-san forgot her lyrics and turned it into “nananana~” instead. After her line, she showed us all a really bright smile. Carrie-san please, it is too bright <3

Wake Up!! ~ PUPPY LOVE Medley

During Day 1 (1/2) Live, Yui-chan forgot her Puppy Love rap and laughed. It was very cute, please put it on DVD.

Our Stead Boy

During Day 1 (1/2) live, Carrie-san went to the wrong direction again, prompting Yui-chan to follow her again as she laughed. On the second verse, Carrie-san goes over to Yui-chan’s side of the stage taps her shoulder and then puts her arm around her waist. This Carrie-san seems to like Yui-chan’s waist a lot.

During Day 2 (1/3), the announcement for Budoukan was made before Our Steady Boy. Yui-chan told everyone “You thought we were disbanding, didn’t you!? We are not, YuiKaori is still continuing!” The two of them were crying as we congratulated them for their Budoukan concert! After Carrie-san had wiped her tears, Yui-chan continued crying as Our Steady Boy started to play. She tried her best to still  sing despite the tears falling. During the first verse, Carrie-san wrapped her arms around Yui-chan’s waist and pulled her over to the side of the stage as they both waved at the audience. Yui-chan seemed to just find this gesture very natural, so she just naturally goes into her arms as they sing. During the second verse, Yui-chan wasn’t able to sing so Carrie-san just looked at her. She was crying so much. Yui-chan(´；ω；｀)

After the final song, the two of them held hands as they went up the stairs to exit. Even though they’re already at the top, Carrie-san didn’t want to let go of Yui-chan’s hand since she’s still crying a bit. However, they told everyone to stay quiet as they prepare for their final thank you (without the mic). However, even though they counted 1, 2, 3, they were trying to say different things and laughed. We laughed as well. Yui-chan was trying to say 「今日の来てくれた皆さんありがとうございました」(To everyone who came today, Thank you very much!)　while Carrie-san was trying to say 「ありがとうございました！」(Thank you very much!) It was cute and funny. They looked at each other and said, Yui, “To everyone who came today!” Both “Thank you very much!”

We also expressed our thanks to YuiKaori after they exited. It was a truly exhilarating live event. We’re both glad we went. It was both our first time in Japan, it was also both our first live event in Japan.

It was a truly fulfilling weekend.

Lantis Festival’s first world wide concert ends in Taipei, with over 30 Seiyuus and singers putting up a brilliant 2-day performance; creating good memories with thousands of fans. (Source)

Lantis Festival’s first worldwide concert, already traveled round America – Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Korea – Seoul, Singapore, Shanghai, and the final performance was in Taipei, which was broadcasted live in Japan and Hong Kong cinemas. The purpose of this event was to convey Japan’s anime music to the world, and let the world experience the passionate and moving anime music.

To make it the best performance, there was a live orchestra playing the music, and projection screens at both sides of the stage playing images of anime related to the songs,which combined the anime and the live performance to bring an impactful visual and auditory experience to the audience.

During the two days of performances at the Taipei International Convention Center, many fans were waiting outside the arena early. Regardless of whether they were iDOLM@STER ‘Producers’ or Love Live’s ‘LLer/LoveLivers’, they all brought their supporting merchandise to show their passion to the seiyuus and singers whom they could finally meet.

There was also a gift box provided, for fans to place all sorts of gifts,cards, or signs of encouragement, and there was a huge crowd queuing up to buy this event’s exclusive limited merchandise.

There were 11 artistes performing in these two days: JAM Project, Suzumura Kenichi, OLDCODEX, Kita Shuuhei, bamboo(milktub), Sasayi Sayaka, Hashimoto Miyuki, THE IDOLM@STER MILLIONSTARS,Oohashi Ayaka, µ’s, TRUE, who all brought together an amazing performance.

Apart from the 20 minute intermission, the seamless performances blew the fans away, leading them to express themselves through their cheering.

SUZUMURA KENICHI

Suzumura Kenichi who is rather popular in Taiwan started the first day’s programme with a bang, specially using Taiwanese to greet the fans, and shared his experience looking for food in the middle of the night in Taiwan. He passed by a hotpot store which was about to close for the day, but the boss still invited him to eat, and that left an impression of Taiwan food and the hospitality of the Taiwanese for him.

He performed the ED of the anime CØDE:BREAKER “Shiroi Karasu”, and Heaven’s Memo Pad’s ED “Asunaro.”

Suzumura Kenichi who likes Kamen Rider Ryuki, together with JAM Project’s Kitadani Hiroshi, sang Kamen Rider Ryuki’s “Revolution.” Both singers’ blood-pumping performance roused the fans to sing along.

On the last day, He was in charge of the first half’s finale, and performed his original songs “SHIPS” and “A I U E Ongaku,” causing the fans to sing in unison and turn the whole arena into a sea of blue lights. Suzumura Kenichi likes Taiwan cuisine a lot, and specially mentioned that Taiwan’s water bamboo + mayonnaise was ‘SWEET!’, capturing the female fans’ hearts with his attractive voice. He also ate a very tasty and very soft sandwich, and it was so good he wanted to bring it back to Japan.

KITA SHUUHEI

Kita Shuuhei performed for both days, and brought “Issei No Sei” from the popular anime Natsume Yuujinchou, Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi’s “Sekai No Hateni Kimi Ga Itemo,” Shin Megami Tensei’s main theme “Breakin’ through,” as well as other songs.

On the first day he performed “Yume Kounen” with his senior Kageyama Hiroshi, with Kageyama Hiroshi playing the acoustic guitar. Kita Shuuhei said “To me, this one is like the existence of a ‘divine song’ because he sang it when he won a competition to start his career as a singer, and on the first day he was able to duet with Kageyama Hiroshi. Kita Shuuhei felt as though he was dreaming, and even shed tears while speaking, showing his emotional side. Perhaps because of the first day’s performance, on the second day, when he just announced the song title, the whole arena was filled with the green glow of the light sticks/king blades, displaying the fans’ warm response.

HASHIMOTO MIYUKI

It was her first time coming to Taiwan, and she performed four songs, including the TV anime iDOLM@STER XENOGLOSSIA’s OP, “Binetsu S.O.S!!”, the TV anime Saki’s OP “Glossy:MMM,” and Saki Zenkoku-hen’s OP, “New SPARKS!,” and on the final day, Hashimoto Miyuki performed the anime Shukufuku no Campanella’s OP “Mirai Kaikisen,” which immediately fired up the atmosphere. Hashimoto Miyuki has always liked Anime Songs, and wanted to spread this energy to the audience. She was very surprised and happy when the audience reacted immediately when the song titles were announced, and thanked those who were watching the live viewing in Hong Kong and Japan.

SASAKI SAYAKA

During her performance of the anime Nichijou’s ED “Zzz” which brought a joyful atmosphere, she asked the audience “Is everyone happy?” in Chinese.

She revealed that three years ago, she had come to Taiwan with her friends for a vacation, but this time she came to Taiwan to perform solo.
She sang So, I Can’t Play H!’s main theme, “Reason why XXX” and displayed her vocal prowess performing the main theme of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing’s “JUST COMMUNICATION” from her latest cover album SAYAKAVER.

On the second day she was part of the audience, enjoying the performances with the fans in the arena.

OOHASHI AYAKA

She appeared only on the second day, but this was her first time appearing for the global tour. To convey “ENERGY☆SMILE”‘s cute topic, she specially used Chinese to greet everyone: “Let us get hyped together!” She sang a total of three songs, including Sabagebu!’s OP “YES!!” and her new single “ENERGY☆SMILE.” With the light sticks dancing along to the songs, the whole stadium was filled with a joyful atmosphere. Her voice and songs were full of bubbly energy, and the fans present were dazzled by her cuteness after seeing her live. They adored Oohashi Ayaka, and kept calling out “Angel”.

TRUE

TRUE (Karasawa Miho) also only appeared on the second day. To attend this tour, she specially went to apply for her passport, and even went early to Taiwan’s LongShan Temple to pray for a smooth performance. This time she sang three songs, including the anime BUDDY COMPLEX’s OP “UNISONIA” as well as the new production Maria the Virgin Witch’s OP, “ailes.” During the exciting performance, she displayed her strong singing capabilities! (As TRUE was able to perform her four singles here, I felt really happy.)

bamboo(milktub)

milktub’s lead singer bamboo, who likes Taiwan a lot and has already visited Taiwan 15 times, came for the second time this year. To bamboo, Taiwan felt like a reassuring place. He performed the renowned Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu’s ED “Baka Go Home” and during The Eccentric Family’s “The Eccentric Family,” he suddenly ran down the stage towards the audience, allowing the audience to get up close with him like an idol.

And similarly to Japan’s dramatic performance, he took out a dakimakura to raise the atmosphere of the audience. During the second day, they were specially joined by JAM Project’s Endoh Masaaki to sing Kenzen Robo Daimidaler’s ED “Kenzen Robo Daimidaler” and sang the chorus together with the fans.

This song’s lyrics are written by bamboo, Endoh-kai performed it, and bamboo is also a member of Endoh-kai.

OLDCODEX

Rock Band OLDCODEX only performed on the first day. When the lead singer Ta_2 and artist YORKE arrived on the stage, the female fans started to scream and cheer! It was their first time performing in Taiwan, and they sang 5 songs, including Kuroko no Basuke’s main theme “WALK”. YORKE started to do spray painting on the stage, while singer Ta_2 mentioned that after arriving in Taiwan, he had taken a walk in the streets of Taipei. Seeing a different scenery as compared to Japan, and thinking that there are OLDCODEX fans around, he felt elated.

As they are gaining popularity in Taiwan, there have been a number of fans who had wished they would come to Taiwan to perform. He also excitedly said “We finally reached here to meet with everyone!” OLDCODEX which had fulfilled its wish was filled with emotion, and even though artist YORKE had to be sent to the hospital due to liver problems, he also left a message to give his regards to the fans. Ta_2 also made a promise to return to Taiwan.

THE IDOLM@STER MILLIONSTARS (THE iDOLM@STER: Million Live!)

As the performers for the finale of the first half of the first day, the lineup for THE iDOLM@STER had 6 singers who shared the stage, including Nakamura Eriko (as Amami Haruka), Imai Asami (as Kisaragi Chihaya), Yamazaki Haruka (as Kasuga Mirai), Tadokoro Azusa (as Mogami Shuzuka), Machico (as Ibuki Tsubasa), Asakura Momo (as Hakozaki Serika).

They were very happy to come to Taiwan to perform, expressing that the six of them being able to come to Taiwan together was like a dream come true. The fans who had been eagerly awaiting them produced the light sticks according to the character colors, and reacted rapidly to every song, letting the first day’s first half end on a high note.

μ’s

μ’s, the idol group which appears in LoveLive! made an appearance only on the second day. Even though it was announced before the performance that Nanjou Yoshino (as Ayase Eli) was unable to perform due to a knee injury, during the opening of the last day, she recorded a video to apologize to the fans. She often received greetings from Taiwanese fans on Twitter, and she expressed that she would come to Taiwan if given the opportunity. The fans also immediately changed their lightsticks to Eli’s character colour, ‘Aqua Blue’ as a response. The whole scene was extremely moving.

This time μ’s came with 8 members, including:
Kousaka Honoka (CV: Nitta Emi), Minami Kotori (CV: Uchida Aya), Sonoda Umi (CV: Mimori Suzuko), Hoshizora Rin (CV: Rida Iiho), Nishikino Maki (CV: Pile), Toujou Nozomi (CV: Kusuda Aina), Koizumi Hanayo (CV: Kubo Yurika), Yazawa Nico (CV: Tokui Sora), entered in the Bokura wa Ima no Naka De outfits to perform. The eight of them had their own unique call and response, and the fans also quickly changed their light stick colors to respond. They said that “The feelings that everyone in Taiwan has, we have received them!”

The second day of the performance was also Nishikino Maki’s birthday. μ’s led the arena of 3000 people to sing a birthday song as well wishes, and performed 6 popular songs, including “Bokura wa Ima no Naka De,” “Bokura no Live Kimi to no Live,” “Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki.”

The fans waved light sticks with different characters’ colors, making it the most colorful sea of light sticks in the two days of performances. Because Taipei International Convention Center’s stage is similar to the school’s auditorium, during “START:DASH!!” when the song started, the arena would fire up, μ’s said “It might be a little warm” and brought the what the fans had been anticipating, the second single “Snow halation,” causing the whole arena to get riled up.

In two seconds, the fans also changed the originally white sea of light sticks to an orange one, completing the miraculous color call.

JAM Project

This time JAM Project came in full attendance. The last time they had come to Taiwan was a couple of years back, but in the Taiwan anime fans’ hearts, they still held an important place.

They took on the responsibility of performing the finale for both days, and was always able to lead the audience to get incredibly pumped up.

On the first day, they performed  Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Inspector’s main theme “Break Out” and their entrance was feverish. They brought out their members’ solo performances in a routine. On the first day, there was Kageyama Hironobu’s “Saint Seiya~ Soldier Dream,” Endoh Masaaki’s “Believe in Nexus,” Okui Masami’s “Rinbu Revolution,” Fukuyama Yoshiki’s “PLANET DANCE,” Kitadani Hiroshi’s “We Go!” and finally JAM Project’s classic piece, “SKILL” and they brought the “101” call that had not been seen in Taiwan for a long time

On the final day, Team leader Kageyama Hironobu specially used Taiwanese to tell the audience “Hello everybody, I like it!”, making the fans extremely happy.

They performed the game 3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha: To the End of the Galaxy’s Main theme “GONG” with a fast paced rock music, as well as the previous high atmosphere created by μ’s, the audience rose to an evern greater energy, with three thousand fans responding to the passionate singing with a sea of red light sticks.

During the final performance on the second day, most songs sung were also different, with Endoh Masaaki’s “Yuusha Otanjou!” from The King of Braves, Okui Masami’s “PREDESTINATION” from Garo: Makai Senki, Fukuyama Yoshiki’s “Makkana chigai” from Buso Renkin, Kitadani Hiroshi’s “We Go!” from One Piece, and Kageyama Hironobu’s “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” from  Dragonball Z.

The whole arena was singing along to the songs, requesting TRUE to sing along for Super Robot Wars MX’s “VICTORY.”

Finally, the whole arena sand the blood pumping “SKILL” together. Kitadani Hiroshi might have seen the advertisement a couple years back about Taiwan and Japan’s pro baseball match, this time “SKILL” had the familiar “MEP cold medicine song” in it, making the fans pleasantly surprised, and they couldn’t stop laughing.

Fukuyama Yoshiki specially mentioned that the first time he came to Taiwan was in 2006, and almost every year later he came to Taiwan, but this time her had been absent for three years. He said, “You must call us to come over next time okay!”

The performances across two days lasted four hours, but the fans still yearned for more. When the last group was about to step off the stage and the audience were shouting for an Encore. The members wore this event’s themed T shirt and made another appearance, and gave a speech. even though there was someone translating, the fans, despite being unable to understand Japanese, were able to interact with the performance on stage.

For the solo performers, Sasaki Sayaka mentioned that “It was great that this time’s tour ended in Taipei, everyone was earnestly listening to Japanese”. Hashimoto Miyuki thanked the fans for their warm responce, Kita Shuuhei said that the warmth in Taiwan, as compared to Japan, was considerably big, and the passionate Taipei audience expressed their warm feelings. He would come back again Suzumura Kenichi expressed that Taipei International Convention Center was a rare performance ground, to be able to hold so many fans, and at th same time feel close to them, and also being able to collaborate with his senior Kitadani Hiroshi made him very happy. He was even more thankful to the live audience who were able to react warmly even though they didn’t know his songs, letting him experience the cohesive ability of anime music. This tour gave him the best memory. For bamboo who has came to Taiwan many times, he said this was his happiest time, and he hoped to be able to come to Taiwan again to enjoy the food and perform. Oohashi Aya and TRUE thanked the fans once again, TRUE emotionally said that 10 years ago she was just an anime fan, but now, she was very happy that she could perform with her seniots JAM Project as a singer

For the groups, OLDCODEX deeply thanked the fans for giving their group the best view, and the lead singer said in Chinese, “I love you all!”
iDOLM@STER’s 6 members were also very happy that they would collectively meet the eagerly waiting fans here.

The members of μ’s said that it was their first times coming to Taiwan, an they were very thankful to feel the audience’s warm response, and as singers, would let everyone love anime music even more.

Returning to the Taiwan after a few years, JAM Project’s 5 members might have joined the ranks of uncles and aunties, but during the curtain close they were still as playful.

Kitadani Hiroshi repeatedly said towards iDOLM@STER that he wanted to join and become ‘Ojisan m@ster], and on the second day, Fukuyama Yoshiki joined in and talked about joining μ’s to become ‘Ojisan live!’ Okui Masami put all her feelings into th activity, she felt very happy that the tour’s final stop was in Taipei. Fukuyama Yoshiki mentioned that the country he visits is Taiwan, and that he had come either as a group or solo close to ten times. Coming any number of times would be great, and the whole arena reponded to the [FIRE] call. Kitadani Hiroshi mentioned that he was very touched as he saw the sea of red lightsticks during the performance, and led the audience with his own unique [Hiroshi call]. He thanked the audience’s wam response, and indicated that he would return.

Kageyama Hironobu said that ever since his first trip to Taiwan, every time he came, he created great memeories, and he had unknowingly liked ‘Smelly Tofu’, and the members by his side called him ‘Smelly tofu brain’. But he emotionally said that this time’s perdormance was due to Taiwan and Japan’s workers working hard togetehr, and he thanked the Taiwan staff for their cordial service, and treated them to Horny Ryen Jen sandwiches and other food. He also thanked the Taiwanese Amuse workers for their efforts in being able to make this Lantis tour a success.

Finally, all the performers got together on the stage to sing Lantis Festival’s main theme [Starting STYLE!!].

After two days’ passionate performance, the first Lantis Festival global tour, with the warm audience and high and euphoric atmosphere, ends in Taipei International Convention Center.

For Taiwan to be able to have such a large scale event anime and festival like activity for the first time, many fans also went to Lantis Festival to thank the organisers, and look forward to the next time they’ll meet.

It was the final day of the tour. I was on the sixth row of Arena A1 (from Yui-chan’s side).
The live started almost just as planned. First they started with Maeyamada (Hyadain)’s songs PUPPY LOVE!! and WAKE UP!!. The way they started it… I was surprised that it didn’t have any differences with the Nagoya setlist… (^^;) No, I didn’t think about something like that at all. Maybe because of the complications of the choreography and such, YuiKaori won’t change their setlist that much.

Y: Everyone, konbanmiru~!
Y: It’s so spacious~!
K: It looks so different with people in it, compared to when we were doing our rehearsal, huh?
Y: It’s amazi~ng!!
K: It feels like we’re attending Anisama, right? (laughs)
Y: It’s the first time for a YuiKaori live to have the arena seats. I can see everyone so clearly~! At last, we are on the final day of the tour.

Fans: E~~~~~h!!!

Y: Do you still want us to continue it?? (laugh) We really want to do it too, but we can’t keep the venue so it will be difficult. We did a live in Nagoya and Osaka too. How was it, Carrie-san?

K: When the day came, it felt like ‘It’s finally the day, huh~,’ soon it ended and I enjoyed both of them. Today, I don’t feel like it’s the final day, but it’s the biggest venue in YuiKaori’s history, so I’ve been so nervous since the rehearsals. I couldn’t control my anxiousness. Although Yui-chan didn’t seem to be that nervous.

Y: I was restless!

K: You looked surprisingly calm.

Y: I feel nervous too~!! I’m really happy that a great number of YuiKaori fans can assemble here today! I think it will be nice if we can return the favor to everyone who have been supporting us.

K: That’s right. Everyone can’t imagine the view you can see from here, right? I won’t allow you to climb here, though (laughs) The pink and blue penlights are filling up the venue. I can’t feel happier than now.

Y: It was really empty during rehearsal, but I’m glad that a lot of people could enter this venue.

Y: It’s already December. This year, it will end soon. How was this whole year, Carrie-san?

K: Do you mean, if I have something that I didn’t do in 2014? I wonder if I have one~?

Y: I felt like we’ve always been together as YuiKaori this whole year. We had news coverage and rehearsal on January, Live on February, and we had a single on March (I think it was LUCKY DUCKY!!’s recording, which released on April). Something like that.

K: The one that left an impression to me was when we were allowed to appear on MUSIC JAPAN!!

Y: Aah~! It was a nice memory, wasn’t it~?

K: The view on that day was similar with now, it was reassuring~

Y:  I miss my uniform. I usually go to work after school. Up to now, I’ve been wearing my uniform to work, but now I’m just using my casual clothes. My co-workers tells me ‘Huh? You aren’t wearing your uniform today? How rare~’ I think I will put ‘Go to Disneyland while wearing a uniform’ as my target for next year. Let’s go together, Carrie-san!

K: I- I will go~! (^^;)
Y: Let’s go!! Let’s go!!

After a quite long MC, they got back to the song corner.
Up until now it has always been HEARTBEAT ga Tomaranai!, now they changed it to Shooting☆Smile. And they were also firing the bazooka which was used during “Our Steady Boy” in the previous ones.

This time it’s ‘Party Twister Challenge’.
The rule is if they can hold until 8 turns, they will get a wonderful present.

Let’s get to the challenge without delay.
The staff turned the roulette,  and they will give instructions based on the colors and which body parts they should put on it. On the first turn, when Kaori-chan was instructed to ‘right leg up in the air’, Kaori-chan kept  putting her right leg up in the air. She was considerably persistent, but because she couldn’t hold it, they failed the challenge.

Y: One more time! One more time!! One more time!!!

With the encouragement by Yui-chan, the staff went ‘It’s special, because it’s a party, okay!’ and the rule changed. It’s okay if both of them can hold until 5 turns.

They finally cleared the challenge on the second time! Both of them get a ‘Massage Coupon’. Please heal up after you forced yourself during Twister, okay (lol)

Just the otaku being an otaku who went in panic the moment they heard about Twister.

It really made a commotion, after all. I was one of them, who went too excited and honestly I didn’t really remember what happened. But I will stop writing on this part, the highlight is when they were doing the impossible stance, especially their hip lines. ←
That, and it wasn’t going to be like everyone expected, YuiKaori didn’t lie on top of another. Hmm~ Too bad. But it was a good footage where you can see the strength of their torso.

After the footage ended, it was solo corner.
The MC right after she sang Tinkling Smile.

Y: The venue became all pink. It’s really pretty I’m moved by it. Nonetheless, I feel really happy. Recently the winter which I really like is finally coming. I’m really happy everyday! Because I like the cold weather. I want to take a little questionnaire, is it okay? For everyone who prefers winter, raise your hand!

Y: For everyone who prefers summer, raise your hand!

It seemed because Yui-chan said that she prefers winter before, there were more people who said they prefer winter.

Y: Even though I thought there will be more people who preferred summer…! And then you will say ‘It’s not like that!’ and I could tell you the good things about winter~! I should change my plan~! (*_*)

I’ve always liked winter since long time ago. Because you wouldn’t need to rely on air conditioner and such, also in winter you can wear extra clothes when you feel cold and you will still be okay.
But I can’t stand the sunlight and the heat in summer no matter what.

Y: Well then, I think I will talk about the good things about winter. The very first reason why I really like winter is because I like when I open entrance doors and it goes *whoosh~* (she made a gesture of the wind blowing to the bottom of her neck). Because it’s only your face that’s uncovered… Do you know this feeling?

It seems to Yui-chan who has a high body temperature, she found that the wind blowing to the bottom of her neck feels good. But then I thought ‘Isn’t it the thing that Kaori-chan really hate…’  (^^;)

Y: The second reason is the food. When you are talking about winter, it means hot pot!

Fans: Motsunabe~?

Y: Motsunabe? I’m sorry, I’m not very good with motsu. I like kimchi hot pot. I’m not good with spicy food, but I can eat kimchi hot pot! It’s such a bless when you can eat something warm, isn’t it?

Oh? But if you can eat doteni, wouldn’t you be okay eating Motsunabe as well…???

Y: The third reason is because the winter sports are fun! Such as skiing and skating. When I was still in elementary school, I always took the advanced course in skiing every week. But recently the adult are like ‘It’s dangerous so you shouldn’t do it!’ so I couldn’t slide. If everyone said ‘I want to see you ski!’, maybe I will get the permission for it??

Fans: We want to see it~!!!

Y: I feel really happy that I can tell everyone the good things about winter (´ω｀)

Then it continued with Hatsukoi Maze *sugar time ver., during the interlude, there was a big heart on the huge screen that was in unison with Yui-chan’s movements.  It’s a really common thing but it looked like a magic. At last, until the moment she thrown a kiss, it felt like you are under a really, really sweet magic (*´∀｀*)

K: Well~ Everyone’s movement during Sunny Ray Beam!! was really splendid~!! By the way, I got angry because of one thing. During Yui-chan’s MC before this, there were just a few people who prefer summer, right? All of you were converted~! (maybe she wanted to  say ‘won-over’?) Who prefers summer??

Fans: Yee~~~s!!! (Almost all of them changed sides to liking summer)

K: You all are really simple, huh~!

K: By the way, this is Makuhari, right? There is something I want to ask, are there any people from Chiba prefecture~? That’s more than I expected! I can finally make a triumphant return! Everyone~ I’m back~!

Fans: Welcome back~!!

K: On our radio, we got some mails about Gunma and Chiba materials. From all of those mails, there was one about ‘Gyoukan Yasumi¹’, which only the people from Chiba prefecture know about.

The people who said ‘gyoukan yasumi’? were they really the people from Chiba?
There are some people who used ‘gyoukan yasumi’, but it seems that people outside Chiba prefecture are using it, too. I’m using it, too.

K: Oh well. If you have that kind of material again, please send it to MiRaji. By the way Chiba prefecture has a mascot named Chiba-kun, right? Recently there was a Mascot Grandprix, and Gunma-chan from Gunma prefecture won the first place. It’s a mascot from where Ogura Yui-chan was born. But you know, Chiba-kun was on the 161th place~!

K: During the HEARTBEAT’s (HEARTBEAT ga Tomaranai!) MV shoot, there was a poster there. I knew about Chiba-kun’s existence from that poster. I thought ‘What is this dog?’.
Because he was on the 161th place, I want him to do his best even more. I will do my best, too.

The Shiny Blue *Right on! Dream ver. after this was similar to Yui-chan’s turn, Kaori-chan is drawing a rainbow on the screen. On that moment, the venue turned like you’re being enveloped under the clear sky, with a refreshing atmosphere. Yui-chan was a heart, while Kaori-chan was a rainbow. I think it was a good direction which matched their personality.

It’s been a while since the last time I saw Yui-chan who acted like a bully towards Kaori-chan.

After that they were trying to wear apron, but then Yui-chan said “Stop~ If I wear this, I will totally look like a kindergartener~!” And just as she said, she perfectly looked like a kindergartener, it makes you want to put a kindergarten cap on her head.

Then they finally chose one thing, the photo frames which they didn’t touch at all. Because this time the venue was big, they were being generous! Five people got the presents.

When I thought that it would be okay if they just gave the aprons they used, but then I bet the next day you will see the apron Yui-chan used on the Yahoo Auction, it’s a different story in many ways.

After the footage ended, both of them walked into the runway.

Y: To tell you the truth, we were actually staying over night after Osaka live.

K: We were throwing tantrums.

I knew it. Looking from the time they ended the performance, they couldn’t go back after all (lol)

Y: It’s been a while since the last time we had the permission to stay over. Because we usually didn’t get it~

K: That’s right~ seriously.

Y: Because we had a lot of luggages and it would be troublesome if we took two rooms, we asked for one twin room and we spent time together. In the morning, I was unusually awaken earlier than Carrie-san. When I saw her, her hair curved up it looked like Suneo-kun from Dora*mon (laughs). After that I woke her up, “Carrie-san wake up~! (laughs)”

K: I woke up and put my glasses on to see it, and it had a miraculously ultimate curve.

Y: I took a photo with my phone, and I saw it once again. It’s really horrible.

K: Even though you took it by yourself! (laughs)

Y: Carrie-san always gives me power. I’m such a lucky person ♡

What, it’s just a newly-wed who speaks fondly of each other, isn’t it.

K: Speaking of staying over, we’ve been dragging the staff, “It’s been a while since we went to Osaka, so let’s go to USJ* the next day~” but in the end it was impossible~ Next time when we have a work together in Osaka, we’ll make sure to stop by to USJ⁴. Our ambition is big.

You can just ask them to put Osaka on Saturday for your final day, you know!!

Y: We really ate a lot of imagawayaki during the rehearsal, didn’t we?

K: It was coming during the weekend, right? I was looking forward to it. I like the cream cheese-flavored ones.

Y: I want to become a person who can make imagawayaki.

K: Eh~ But it’s hot when you bake it, you know?

Y: Hmm~ Well then, I will be inside of the store! I will be the one who will eat the leftover imagawayaki! (it’s no longer about being the person who baked it)

K: No, it’s better if you are the one who buys it! I bet you will get bored in a day!!

I’m sure that Yui-chan will bake it nicely, but just like Kaori-chan said, she will get bored easily. So I thought it’ll be a good fortune if she could make one during a home party (^^;)

After that, they sang Futari and Koisuru Stole, we had a VTR and DANCING PARTY.

K: Like ‘super amazing’ or ‘super cool’. We’ve been infected (laughs)

Y: They are our radio’s script writer, Nacchan’s favorite phrases, aren’t they (laughs)

K: We’ve been infected even on the radio we pointed it out (laughs)

Y: I think she hasn’t said them that frequent recently. If we count it from this year’s recordings it might be a lot, though.

K: Also, it might not be recognized, but I have ‘Yuitama’.

Y: Does everyone know about it~? You don’t know about it, right??

K: I’ve been using it modestly though, like ‘You know, Yuitama is~’

Y: Eh~ Somehow it’s embarrassing.

K: Even though it’s cute~!

Fans: Yuitama~!!!

Y: Everyone looks happy (laughs) Eh, what made you started calling me like that?

K: I think it was because I like the tempo when I said ‘Yuitama~’, it comes nicely to me (laughs). It’s my favourite phrase.

Y: Mine won’t come out unless I’m on a high spirit. It’s ‘Re~ally really really’. I said that on this year’s radio because I was too excited. I didn’t say ‘re~ally really really’ ever since that time, though. But since then, people kept on using the word ‘re~ally really really’ on their mails for the radio, I thought that I influenced everyone. I’m happy for that.

Y: It’s really unrelated, but kabedon is re~ally really really popular, isn’t it! If I’m not mistaken, there are many types of kabedon. Such as yuka-don.

Me: ;`;:ﾞ;`(;ﾟ;ж;ﾟ; )BUH—Yuka-don (lololololol) Yui-chan, that’s just a normal pushing down~~~ (lolololol)

I felt that Kaori-chan was somewhat laughing with a bit of embarrassment (lol)
Maybe even Yui-chan thought ‘Oops!’, after that she added “I don’t know such a thing, though” (lol)
I could hold the feeling of wanting to say “You MUST be lying (lololol)”, let’s just say that I’ve been deceived (^_-)-☆

Then it ended up with they were trying to do kabedon. What is this, it’s really the best.

Y: Do your best to make my heart flutter, okay ♡

At that point, it’s needless to say but I felt defeated. Just what kind of person is Ishihara Kaori, who didn’t have a breakdown even after she heard that? Yui-chan personally put her back on the wall, she bent a little to make a height difference.

K: I want to do it smoothly, so I won’t tell you what kind of kabedon I will do.

Ishihara Kaori just said that. ‘Can we see a handsome Carrie-san!?’ I began to ride by myself, but it was very much a usual kabedon. Looks like she only whispered something.

It made Yui-chan blink with surprise.  I mean, she did it overenthusiastically so their face were so close, what is this. Is it just my hallucination??

Y: It’s because you approached me so suddenly~If you do that so suddenly, of course anyone will be surprised.

If you don’t stop at least at ‘ton’ and only did ‘don’, of course people would get surprised (lol) (^^;)
Even Ayase Haruka-san said “I did get surprised but my heart didn’t flutter~” when she got kabe-don in ‘Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu.’ Drama TV.

Next it will be Yui-chan who does the don to Kaori-chan.

“Carrie-san, can you make a spaced out expression?” Yui-chan gave her an instruction. Kaori-chan was standing while spaced out with a really exhausted face that makes you want to say “Isn’t it a No Good expression?”

As she said “Carrie-san!”, she took Kaori-chan’s hand and pushed her alongside the wall, she did the kabedon. Kaori-chan was completely spaced out so it seems she didn’t understand what has happened. After that, Yui-chan held her head and said “Waah~ It’s a failure~ (>_<)”

Starting from here, it’s just my imagination.

It’s about Kaori-chan who made a mistake and did a Pacifico Yokohama version during Birthday Live in August (she went to the edge of the stage and started running). They said that Kaori-chan’s heart fluttered after Yui-chan nonchalantly approached her and took her hand to bring her back to the right position. So perhaps Yui-chan wanted to recall that~, or so I thought.

NEO SIGNALIFE’s MV was revealed for the first time, but I did my best just to see the live’s VTR and YuiKaori on the stage, so I didn’t watch it properly (^^;)

Then it continued with Our Steady Boy, the rail cars appeared!

The first time I came to my seat, the passage near the seat wasn’t big enough for the rail cars to pass. So I thought there is no way they will use rail cars, but this is a pleasant miscalculation! Because I sat on Yui-chan’s side, Yui-chan went near to my seat. Because she stopped up for the people on the left aisle seat, I was able to see her closely. She went closer so I think it’s even closer than if you sit on the front row.
When their rail cars crossed each other, they grasped each other’s hand (hi-touch?), it was really nice, wasn’t it (*^_^*)

Y: With this tour, I feel like we were able to make our feelings connect with each one of you. Were we able to repay some of your love for us? It’s been 5 years since YuiKaori formed, until now a lot of things happened. I can’t believe that we reached the point where we can have a lot of people coming for us like this. With a lot of chances with fate, I felt really happy that we could connect with everyone. These feelings from now on, I will treasure it. I think that it has become a warm tour, as long as we were able to reach out to everyone with energy and courage.

K: Now that I think about it again, doing a live is really nice. I did my best with all of my might for this tour. I’m happy if this tour becomes a tour  that everyone could enjoy. This is the first time I’ve ever rode a railcar, I was able to see everyone all the way in the back as they did their best to waved their hands at me. This tour has been about everyone giving their all to cheer for us. Because everyone is here that’s why we were able to do a great live tour. I am really grateful to all of you. Let’s do this again next time!

Y: Of course!!
K: Of course. Will everyone come and see us??

The encore ended with two songs without any changes. There was no double encore or any news.

I participated in all of the lives.

I think this tour’s highlight was the dance.

They had the DANCING PARTY VTR and NEO SIGNALIFE, which were the cool type dance, maybe to reconfirm that their weapon is their dance. It was a challenge over a new type of dance. So I think they showed it to us and led to their self-confidence.
They were really lively. They learned another one thing, the way they could show their techniques, I think they’ve grown up.

And then about Nininbaori, Twister, and else. I could precisely understand what they wanted to show, the evil intentions (?) of the editors of the King Record staff.

Thank you very much as always! I could enjoy YuiKaori’s charm to the fulllest from every video!!

Because both of them gave me a lot of smiles, I can’t do anything but to smile when I tried to recall it again. It was a really nice tour which you could enjoy with all of your might.

Contrary to the contents of this report, it seems that the person to compose her songs is Yamada Takahiro, who is a well-known composer. You ask who he is? Time to know.

He composed the µ’s songs Snow Halation, Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE, LOVELESS WORLD and Aishiteru Banzai. Not enough? He also composed a song titled “Tsumetai Honoo” for Maeda Atsuko, as well as AKB48 Team Surprise’s 1994 no Raimei, and various anisongs for Kuroko no Basket, Infinite Stratos and a few songs for Chihara Minori.

I must say, Kussun’s first solo album is in very good hands. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

The same person who voiced Love Live’s “Toujou Nozomi” and NyuruNyuru!! KAKUSEN-kun’s Nyururin, Kusuda Aina held an event last May 9^th at Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE in Tokyo.

Following her May 2^nd live from Osaka, this time the event started with live corner. Wearing a black base punk costume, together with fans waving green Cyalumes the day started with Kusuda-san singing YUI’s “My Generation.” Then it was followed by Every Little Thing’s “GRIP” for a heated start up of the day!

The first MC was filled fans who sold out the venue, waving their penlights as she waved at them. Soon after she started with Ikimonogakari’s “Joyful” as everyone swung a towel she personally illustrated while singing the song enthusiastically.

After that was the corner “Words You Wanted Me to Say.” Kusuda-san started announcing the words that she had chosen from Twitter under the hashtag #ThingsYouWantKusudasanToSay

“Kusuda Aina is 17 years old!” and “Oneesan” were some of the words including things like “You don’t even know something like this!? We’re not going home until you understand this, got it!?” of someone like a female teacher, or things like“Eh, you don’t want to work anymore-gozaru? Then work for my sake!”She said it one by one to each fan as a reward.

After a warm up, she called her band to the stage and once again it’s live time! “Everyone, stand up!” She asked everyone. Soon the insert song for the TV Anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya’s “God Knows…” was played, immediately followed by Macross F’s “Seikan Hikou.” Everyone was hyped once more.

She introduced her band members and then said, “I’ve always envied them for being able to play a musical instrument, so for this event I’ve started practicing! Well then, why don’t you guess what instrument it is?” Everyone in the band raised their instruments. It seems that it’s something that might not blend well with a band.

And so, the instrument that Kusuda-san chose was the “Violin!” She took out the violin, although it is for children’s (because of the size), but it could blend well with a band. With the increasing expectations, she suddenly said that she will play “Jounetsu Tairiku” by Hakase Taro, is what she thought she would do after she has practiced enough, this earned a lot of laughs from the audience.

Then the live continued with TV Anime One Piece’s Opening song “Hikari E” which was soon followed by her close friend’s Nitta Emi’s song “NEXT PHASE” which she sang enthusiastically, the crowd cheered wildly. It seems that she had said in a bus event that she would sing it. ““Why don’t you sing “NEXT PHASE” then!?” She said that, so I sang it… It’s really tiring.” She said with a wry smile, but with an expression of fulfillment.

Then it was time for the lottery, which were signed colored papers. Then there was a voice alarm clock that Kusuda-san voiced herself, however, in order to get it, there must be a rock-paper-scissors battle, thus it turned into a wild rock-paper-scissors tournament.

The last song was a song she sung by herself, which was from the TV Anime “PriPara’s” first season theme song, “Make it!” It was the most emotional song for her.

She went back after the “Encore!” calls now wearing a refreshing dress with polka dots. She stood by the stage and said “Everyone, I’ve got an announcement to make.” With that, she told everyone that her solo debut has been decided! The fans shouted in excitement.

“There were a lot of people involved who cheered me and helped me make this solo debut possible. Although I know it has been a long wait for everyone, but right now I’m very happy to announce this in front of everyone. I feel nothing but thankfulness to all of you.” She commented. And she said “With this, I’ve taken a new step forward. Will you all follow me?” She asked as everyone positively replied.

And then she sang her new song “Todoke Mirai!” full of thankfulness for this announcement. Even though she wore casual clothing, she still looked very enthralling.

“Let’s get hyped up until the end!” and then she called the members up to the stage again wearing the “Kusu Kusu Kussun T-shirt.” “I’ll wear it too!” She then wore the shirt, and then she sang the Love Live! Theme Song “Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE” energetically as she and the people in the whole venue became one.

“From now on, there might be a lot of waiting that would happen in the future, but I will do my best, so please continue on supporting me!” She recited as she waved at the audience, and with that the event has ended.

―Please tell us how you reacted when your solo debut was decided.

Kusuda: At first I was very anxious by it, but after seeing the faces of my fans who waited for it, those thoughts were immediately blown away.

―As the person who wrote the lyrics to your new song “Todoke Mirai!” what were your thoughts as you wrote it?

Kusuda: First of all, my thankfulness to my fans. Next is even though something I don’t like happened, I would still do my best. I put everyone’s feelings as they cheered for me, in it.

―How is it, performing this song in front of your fans for the first time?

Kusuda: I was wondering what kind of reaction they would have. They said, “We’ll cheer for you!” and because of that I was able to have a lot of fun singing it. The truth is I was practicing the steps for it since yesterday. I was worried I might make a mistake while performing. (wry smile)

―From now on what kind of songs would you like to sing?

Kusuda: Something that captures my image and I want to tackle a lot of different genres.

―As the singer, Kusuda Aina, what would you like to aim for?

Kusuda: Of course, I want to do a solo live! I want to hold a live that everyone would want to come to! I want to do a live like that!

[Game&Culture] ‘The greatest anime song festival’ – The days of Lantis Festival (source)

 JAM Project, μ’s, ZAQ, nano.RIPE, OLDCODEX… What do you think when you hear those names? Yes. They are singers who work with Lantis.

On April 4th and 5th, Singers from Lantis had participated in ‘ANISONG World Tour Lantis Festival (“Lantis Festival” or “Lantis Fes” for short) at AX-KOREA, Seoul, South Korea.

I came to Lantis Festival on both 4th and 5^th of April to meet Japanese anime singers in Korea. It was a really great chance to meet those singers in Korea.

■ 4th (Sat), Brilliant lineup for first day

The first day of Lantis Festival in Korea. The weather became cloudy as if the man whose nickname is Ame Otoko (a man who causes rain, lit. rain man) made this weather. The aforementioned man was the leader of JAM project, Kageyama Hironobu. He was in today’s lineup.

Many fans already came to wait and see. Especially, women appeared quite a lot because OLDCODEX was in the lineup for the first day.

At the entrance, Lantis Festival opened a small stall selling goods. This included albums, t-shirts, fans, and so on. Still, 3 hours were left right before the concert, the albums of μ’s were almost sold out – though the group was in the second day lineup.

It started to rain. The Staff arranged the waiting lines so that nobody gets soaked.

The Staff tried their best to keep the waiting line straight and right. They did well, so nothing bad happened during entering.

ZAQ warmed up the hall and Lantis fans waved the glow sticks over their heads energetically.

After a few more songs, OLDCODEX appeared on the stage.

OLDCODEX showed powerful music and vocals with a fantastic performance while they also responded to voices that came from their fans.

Female fans cheered so loudly that I thought only OLDCODEX fans came here. Their voices were full of excitement. OLDCODEX performed a total of 5 songs without any problems.

The most impressive stage was Lantis Hit Song Medley. The medley included “Hare Hare Yukai” (ED of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu) and 3 songs of μ’s. The stage was mainly performed by Hata Aki and Misato Aki. For Hata Aki, she is named “the mother of μ’s,” because she wrote all the lyrics of their songs.

The last stage of the first day, JAM Project performed. They sang all together and each member sang one solo song verse by verse. And for the final song, “SKILL” was sung. Every fan was very excited.

At the closing ceremony, artists in the first day lineup came out and told their impressions and gratitude to the fans. Closing was done with the theme song of Lantis Festival, “Starting STYLE!!” Artists and fans sung the song all together.

Together with the waiting time and standing time for the concert, fans stood for more than 7 hours. Though they felt tired, the energy from today’s festival gave enough willpower.

■ 5th (Sun), μ‘s is in front of you

The second day of Lantis Festival in Korea was an important day for some fans. In the second day lineup, there was μ’s. Because of this fact, it was hard for the fans to get tickets to the 2^nd day. They didn’t compete so much for the 1st day, but they did compete so intensively for the ticket on the 2^nd day. The tickets for the 2^nd day completely sold out, whereas the 1^st day tickets weren’t.

As a result, the entrance was filled with Love Live! Fans, they called themselves as “Love Livers.” It had rained earlier, but it had stopped, which allows them to line up outside, compared to the first day.

Compared to the 1st day, a lot of male fans came (almost 90% of total participants). It seemed that male fans of Love Live! took the bigger pie in Korea.

yozuca*’s performance was very heartwarming.

She sang the song “Aitaiyo” with AiRI. Fans started to wave glowing stick with the pink color, which is the symbol color of D.C. ~ Da Capo ~. yozuca* was deeply touched and some teardrops were shed.

yozuca* sang the closing verse in Korean instead of original lyrics verse. That also moved her fans. The stage was full of great harmony between the artist and the fans…

nano.RIPE was on the lineup of 2nd day and sang 5 songs for the fans. She has many fans in Korea. Her last track of today’s concert “Hana no Iro” which was sung by her together with her fans.

The climax of 1st day of Lantis Festival was made by OLDCODEX. But, in the contrast of 1st day, 2nd day was made by μ’s.

Many Love Live! fans came to the 2nd day. As soon as μ’s started to perform, the hall was filled with their enthusiasm.

Even though 4 out of 9 members of μ’s could not participate in today’s performance, 5 members DID their best. Fans waved the glow sticks powerfully, as thankfulness to μ’s. The orange light is the symbol color during the “Snow Halation” performance, which has to be switched from another color. Very short time was given to change the color of the lights. However, fans did it very well and it made a beautiful scenery.

The last track was “No Brand Girls” and μ’s successfully finished their very first live concert in Korea and their very first live outside of Japan.

The last stage was also performed by JAM Project.

JAM Project “necromanced” the almost tired fans with their song of power “GONG.” They led the climax and gave them energy again.

JAM Project performed a different setlist compared to the first day.

Closing their stage with the song “SKILL,” the artists had their chances to say their impressions. They were very impressed of the energetic reactions from the Korean fans and thanked them. They hoped to see them again soon.

Singing “Starting STYLE!!” like 1st day… It concluded the Lantis Festival 2015 in Seoul, Korea.

I, the reporter, participated in both days and felt a bit tired. However, my spirit was filled up with energy from the concert and I still am excited.

Lantis Festival 2015 in Seoul, Korea is a precious experience to everyone. Japan is close to Korea and Koreans may visit Japan for a concert held in Japan. But, holding a Japanese anime song concert in Korea means more than a concert, to Koreans.

Like short “Spoke-in-Korean” thankful speeches and live songs that fans in Japan have often heard many times but not often for someone outside of Japan, artists from Lantis did their best to leave a great impression to their Korean fans.

In Japan’s concert manner, there is a ‘call’ which means shouting some words with rhythm in currently performed song. Meanwhile Korea has a manner named “te-chang” (singing all together with fans.) Because of Lantis Festival 2015 in Seoul, Korea, the artists seemed to have experienced both cultures, or mixed culture. I guess they would be impressed.

There’s no special genre named “Anisong” though, “Anisong” now takes a great share of pie in the music charts. There are some animations whose main theme are “songs.” For example, “Macross Frontier.” Recently, J-anime idols are famous: Idolm@ster, Love Live! and so on. The songs makes the animation complete.

We have memories of singing anime songs, now, anime songs are not just for children but everyone.
The number of fans of anisong is increasing.

Lantis Festival 2015 in Seoul, Korea quenched thirst for anisong fans.

I deeply thank “Lantis” and the Seoul Regional Director “Amuse Korea.” I hope to be in the next year’s live concert again.

Meanwhile, Nanjolno said, that she wants to do a variation of “Kashikoi Kawaii Erichika.” This is just like the things she does with Kussun in NozoEri Radio Garden. So she whispered, “…kashikoi… kawaii…” Eriiichikaaaaa/ But it seems that it was still a little too loud, so she asked everyone to do it again with their “Whisper Voice.” “…Kashikoi… Kawaii…?” …Eriiichikaaa…/ “…Harasho…!”

And then Kussun’s turn. “Nozomi Power Tappuri Chunyuu… Hype Shoot!” But she looked at Jolno then, she said that everyone wasn’t all together, so we’ll do it one more time. Jolno laughed and held her hands out again. Then from behind Kussun she was doing this “come at me!” gesture with her stretched out arms ready to itadakimashita spiritual power. LOL So, Kussun did it again. “Nozomi Power Tappuri Chunyuu… Hype Shoot!” Then she looked at the people behind her, “Now it’s you guys who aren’t in sync! Well… oh well.” LOL

And then everyone got hyped because Soramaru suddenly walked to the middle. Ooohh!? NATSUIRO!!!

After that was the Intermission Drama, the same as in Day 1.

-MC2-

This MC was almost the same as Day 1. Rippi still said that it’s their first time performing it. Maybe for people who didn’t attend Day 1? But for a moment there, I thought I was watching the same clip, since Mimorin was still skinshipping Kussun. LOL. (Like hook her arm around her arm).

Nonetheless, like Day 1, it proceeded to Takaromonozu and then Shangrilaaa Shawaaaaa. But we thought Love Wing Bell will be coming soon, but !? Intermission Drama again!?

-Intermission Drama 2- (Different from Day 1)

I can’t seem to remember this well, I must’ve been tweeting LOL. Anyhow, what I can remember is, Eri is telling Honoka to hurry up changing. But Nico said that she’s so slow so she should just go first. But Honoka tells her “Sure. Do your best.” And Nico was just “I know that without you telling me.” And then everyone started to want to go first, and then Nozomi gave out more options like to do janken, and Eri was like, “Don’t make it more complicated!” Nonetheless, they couldn’t change the performance order anymore. Honoka then says that, the order doesn’t matter. The important thing is that the fans are happy. (?) not very sure. I do vividly remember Eri shouting at Nozomi for making things complicated. LOL

Either way, after that were the unit songs.

Shiawase Iki no Smiling, 10/10 will ride that Ho train.

Zurui yo, Magnetic Today. It started with Soramaru and Pai-sama at the front (near the 2^nd level). They’re standing on carts with a large monitor on it with S and N (South and North poles). As they sing the most tsundere and complicated song of the generation, push-pulling at each other. This was a great performance, their facial expressions, and both are very in character it was so great. And then their carts parted for 2^nd verse, like how they are arguing. And they kept on standing back to back, only to turn around to look at each other and then “hmph!” away. Then the carts got connected again, then their last pose was hooking each other’s arms, then making a heart (?). I laughed at the ending because Pile-sama started pulling onto Soramaru, their arms still connected awkwardly. She started doing this mini hops to her right side, but Soramaru wasn’t budging. But Rippi was already at the back, but pls that was funny. LOL

Then Kururin Miracle. MIRAKURUN! Rippi MAJI ENJE. I had no words. I just looked at Rippi and jumped and shouted MIRAKURUN! Rippi Maji Angel.

So there was a Rectangle stage (main stage), and then the path way to the middle, which was a large circular stage to the middle. That stage has moving platforms that looked like a wedding cake. In the middle, Jolno and Mimorin appeared on opposite parts of a circle, back to back with mic stands.

Storm in Lover! They probably only faced each other after removing the microphone from the mic stand. Hereby calling it Anemone Heart 2.0, then the last post was of Jolno kneeling, with her hand by her shoulder, palm up, while Mimorin stood behind her, back to her, one hand onto Jolno’s hand, and then her own pose. If I tried to find fanart, I would find it.

And then Kussun appeared from the main stage rectangle singing her solo song “Moshimo Kara Kitto” It was a great live performance. Kussun has improved so much since the first live. Out of everyone in µ’s she was the most inexperienced one, like the only person without a background in any kind of industries. (She just did part-time at a maid café before becoming a seiyuu.) She isn’t really very good at singing, and I can see everywhere that they complain about how her “voice” isn’t that great compared to if Jolno sung with Mimorin instead. However, I hear her voice, and hear a lot of potential in her singing. Maybe that’s just me, probably because I’m weird. She also did that magnificent ballet solo as a lily flower showed at the monitor behind her and then her solo ended.

From different ends of the stage, Ucchi and Shikaco appeared both wearing green and yellow apron respectively. And then with kitchen materials on the carts. Shikaco has a rice cooker (of course) and Ucchi has a frying pan. Around the middle of the song, when Ucchi was getting the stuffed toy pig which was like pillow size, the frying pan, became flying pan. She almost tripped on the leg of the table too. Ucchi please be careful. Poor flying pan. Meanwhile Shikaco picked up her rice cooker and showed everyone that it has real rice in it! No Rice No Life!

After that was Susume→Tomorrow! I love this song! I love the calls for this song! But then we wondered why they’re suddenly performing this song… could it be?

Yes! Love Wing Bell! Ahhhh, I ded of that suits again and Rippi’s wedding dress. It’s so great. And then as I explained about the circular center stage, it goes up to two levels (the moving platforms). There were four members at the ground, then second level (like the second level of a three layer cake), had four members too, and then Rippi stood at the top. MAJI ENJEEE.

They talked about short things again, and then this time, Rippi said she needs to return to the middle aisle, but she said it’s lonely if she walked alone, so she held hands with Shikaco and Pile-sama and walked to the middle. Then there’s also Jolno and Kussun holding hands as they walked like they’re in their own world, while the other four were walking. Kussun did hold hands with Pile too. But they just happened to be in their own world anyway のヮの

Kussun and Pile-sama blew away flying kisses in while walking to the center, we all died.

-Intermission Drama 3-

This is also the same with the Costume Missing intermission drama from the first day.

And then, Dancing Stars On Me! Kussun and that magnificent triple pirouette, ah it’s so magnificent every time I see it. This time, just like Love Wing Bell, they do the same, but with Kussun on top instead.

And then, for some reason, they left the spotlight on Kussun and left her there on the top. Suddenly, the background became an instrumental of Happy Birthday, and the members started singing her a happy birthday while holding stuffed strawberries. Then behind her, a caked started rising from the ground, as the two level stage started being lowered into a one step stage (like you can only take one step to get onto it and to get down from it). Then Kussun kept on looking at Nanjolno who just always smiled at her. And then they all told her to blow the candles. She started crying as the song ended, and then Kussun blew the cake.

Kussun said, “Is that why this part in the rehearsal always takes so long!?” And everyone answered “That’s right.” They made her rehearse for her own birthday surprise all this time. Rippi kept on saying “Sorry we kept a secret from you.” But Kussun just smiled as tears streamed down her face. And then Kussun asked about the cake. Nanjolno answered with, “It was going to appear from behind you, that’s why we kept on saying to be careful, and don’t step backward.” Nanjolno also mentioned about how she almost revealed the surprise in Radio Garden, but good thing she was able to stop herself. And then everyone was more afraid that Mimorin would reveal the surprise instead because she kept on joking about it around Kussun. SUZUKO-SAN.

And then they were trying to tell Kussun to point at the audience to blow out the king blades, like the cake candles, but she doesn’t understand it and she kept on looking at Nanjolno for help. So Jolno climbed the mini-stage, and they were there together, alksdjghjkasdlkg. Then with her best doyagao, Jolno explained that she should just point at a section of the arena, and the blades will disappear like candles. So she did so, and the whole stadium went dark as Kussun blew the 2^nd set of candles of her birthday setting.

Then they asked her what her birthday wish was, “To not catch a flu/get sick!” But Rippi went, “If you get sick tomorrow, that would be really funny.” LOL She wished this probably because on her birthday last year, she was sick and couldn’t go out to celebrate. And then Jolno kept on looking at Kussun, but Kussun wasn’t looking at her, but when they finally met gaze, Jolno offered her hand, like the ikemen she is, and Kussun took it. She assisted Kussun from going down the one step stage, and walked her to the left side of the center stage. She didn’t let go of her hand until Kussun got a towel from the staff. She only let go of her hand when she had to stay in her position for the next song, and Kussun’s position was on the other side.

And then the middle stage got lowered down, and Soramaru was like, “And it’s the familiar’s job to take away the cake~” So she grabs the cake (it was on a trolley) and pushed it away. And then near the front, while getting ready for Mogyutto, Shikaco helped Kussun dry out her tears, while Jolno has her back turned to them. I think normally you would look to see what’s up with that, but she just stared at the screen.

And then it was followed by Soshite Saigo no Page. Jolno and Kussun held hands and ran towards the circular center stage, while behind her Soramaru and Pile also held hands to go to their position in the pathway in the middle. Ahh, it was OTP everywhere. The dance for this is song great, I can’t wait for BD.

And then the Love Live Best Songs. Pile-sama commented that Darling!! Is Tsundere song. LOL

And then it was followed by Snow Halation and then Wonderful Rush.

And then the Love Live Best Songs Part 2, then No Brand Girls to Kira Kira Sensation.

ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!

And then the anime VTR of the characters thanking for encore is shown again, suddenly… Bokura wa Ima no Naka de, wearing the first live outfits!! WOOOO!! In this part the Jolno “KORE KARA DAYOOO” was sung by the two of them.

After this song was a short MC, of the members telling everyone to get their Love Live king blades. Each member turned it on their respective colors. Kussun started doing traffic enforcer motions, then she poked Jolno with her purple KB then Jolno and Kussun started doing traffic motions. LOL

And then they performed the most Sentimental performance with the KB rising and lowering. Sentimental StepS. It was great. SENTIMENTAL STEPS WAS VERY SENTIMENTAL.

And then, I thought that wearing these outfits now on Encore is quite weird. Double Encore!?

So they said good bye and it IS a double encore! LOVE LIVE CONCERT DOUBLE ENCORE!!!!

We shouted Encore! Encore! Until we’re all tired and then they appeared again, Happy Maker!

This time the Happy Maker had the NozoEri/Jolks Heart! Wooo! Everyone cheered, I jumped too! NozoEri/Jolks! YEAH!! It was a small heart though, cannot be helped, both are small after all.

And then like Day 1, second half of Happy Maker is of them riding the carts, Rippi/Kussun, Shikaco/Ucchi, Mimorin/Emitsun and then BiBi. Then Oh,Love&Peace. A friend tweeted that Kussun got hit by the big balloons. There were big balls on around the stadium, one color per each member, and they were all around the area. They were balloons where someone like Kussun would fit inside it. LOL In Day 1 Jolno wanted to catch one but ended up pushing it away from her. LOL

Then towel song Dreamin’ GoGo! Then they returned to the main stage for their final words.

Firstly, Kussun said that she can sense the future, and then it’s the movie and best album announcement again, but for some reason… the live view camera were focused on the members on the stage instead of the screen. Kussun started kneeling, and then she seemed to have whispered something on Jolno, who looked at her. Then they closed onto each other, talking. COULDN’T YOU HAVE DONE IT LATER

Soramaru started again, she said about how it’s amazing to have reached this far. She looked like she was about to cry, but she ended her message just before she probably started crying. I wanted to hug Soramaru. ;_; Then Shikaco said words along the same way as well, and then Kussun mentioned about having her birthday celebrated and it was the first time I think. And that she was happy and really grateful for everyone and the fans. Rippi also summarized her message it was short, her message ended the same time the cheering ended LOL. Then Jolno had a short MC as well, thanking everyone for without them, they won’t be able to come this far.

And then Pile-sama’s turn for her MC. She was talking about how the BokuIma outfits were so nostalgic, she then turned to Mimorin (who was on her left) for help, she asked when did they perform BokuIma for the first time? But the camera angle shifted, to the right side, showing all the members from the third years side.

Kussun grabbed Nanjolno’s waist, and seemingly pulled her towards her. But Jolno instinctively leaned her body backward, but Kussun kept on pulling her and nearing her face onto Jolno’s face, until their forehead and noses touched each other. Then they immediately parted after discovering camera on them, Soramaru and Ucchi were looking at them with these shocked faces =O. LOL And then the Pile-sama side from Emitsun towards Shikaco on the left side were all ????????????? and the fans were going “WOOOASDJKGLALKSDH”

My life bar 0. Everyone died.

And then I never heard the end of Pile-sama’s MC, and then I didn’t listen to Ucchi’s orz. Then Mimorin went “…Mimo…!” like always, and then Emitsun’s wrap up comments. It was a really great concert.

Then Emitsun started with Honoka’s solo for Aishiteru Banzai (Piano Ver), and then everyone followed. It was so amazing. Then after it was Donna Toki mo Zutto. Kussun hugged Rippi and then Jolno hugged Rippi. Rippi is like jolks’ daughter. LOL

And so the concert has ended. I was blown away. Being a love liver is great!

Now how to get to Japan on June to watch that movie…

On another note, I was wondering while Emitsun wasn’t speaking much in MCs during the 5^th live, it seems that she was having problems with her throat/vocal chords. Together with this post, it was announced that she would be on break on February and March to get a full recovery. Get well soon, Emitsun!

It still feels surreal, I’m glad I went.

First song went BokuKise so we all just jumped and MAKENAI KOKORO DEEEEE. While I kyaa over Kussun her make up today made her eyes look smaller so I died just seeing her www. And then in BokuIma, Nanjolno’s line “KORE KARA DAYOOOO” which she often shouts instead of sings was sung by Kussun, instead.

Then the songs went in a flow. I then realized that Love Arrow Shoot and Kotori no Oyatsu which Ucchi doesn’t do anymore, don’t have answer calls. :/ It made me feel a little lonely for KotoUmi. Meanwhile I itadakimashita with all my ability because, ahhh Kussun _(：3 」∠ )_

-Intermission Drama 1-

Everyone got worried because Honoka was too hyper (like she was on drugs, Honoka pls), so Eri was trying to get her to calm down. Hanayo suggested writing 人 (hito-person) on the palm and swallowing it. Eri tried to make Honoka do it. So she wrote ひと (in hiragana) repeatedly. Eri said, “Why are you writing it in Hiragana!?” So Honoka revised and wrote ヒト (in Katakana). “Why Katakana!?” Eri looked really worried as Honoka’s character flew all over the screen. So Nozomi said she will take it from there. She will hypnotize her! So she took out 5 yen with a string to it, and made Honoka look at it. “Become sleepy~ be sleepy~” as the yen moved like a pendulum, and then Honoka fell asleep. And so, Eri tells Nozomi to wake her up, but they all can’t. So Umi said that she will do it, and Eri got worried. “Don’t hit her!” And Umi-chan was just “Haaa!” Then Honoka woke up. She was all, “Ah! I slept so well!” Everyone got so confused, even told her she was too hyper then got hypnotized. Honoka said that she knows all about, and she just stopped being all fired up. She said that it isn’t working, so she just decided to return to normal.

And then everyone came back with the more conservative Yume no Tobira outfits (because anime ones are too revealing and transparent). Totally got stunned by Pai-sama and Ucchi, but then I saw Kussun’s shadow walking around in that outfit + white ZR. What was I gonna say again?

Then the songs went straight to Takaramonoozuuuuu and FESTIVAAAAALLLLL however if I remember correctly, there was a short mc after Yume no Tobira, and this derp LilyWhite kept on derping with each other. Kussun curling her hair, Mimorin grabs her arm, Rippi plays with Kussun’s hair. This happens again to whoever it is beside Kussun later. LOL

-MC2-

Then next MC was 2nd years being all derpy and Ucchi and Emitsun whispering behind Umi-chan’s back. Emitsun said that, most people’s first impression of Mimorin is that she’s the reserved and serious type as well, like Umi-chan. And Mimorin was just like, “Eh? Did everyone really think I’m like that? There’s no way right?”LOL and then suddenly she says, “We’ve been to Okinawa right? But I haven’t been there really.” Mimorin pls.

And then LOVE WING BELL.

Thai TH went crazy over Rippi wearing her dress (MAJI ENJE) and then Kussun stood there with her waifu and their tuxedo AND THAT IKEMEN FACE. I ded someone donate B- pls ty.

And then in the middle (2^nd verse) got eaten by ants at RinPana walking the aisle moment. Aaahhhh _(：3 」∠ )_

Then as part of the MC Kussun said she wanted to try walking Rippi too so she did, with Nanchan camerawoman. www

-Intermission Drama 2-

It starts with Eri asking if Hanayo found “it” there, but she says it isn’t there. It’s almost time for the next song and Eri is panicking on what to do because they can’t find the costumes. Eri said that they can just go with the same costumes, but they said that Kotori-chan worked hard for those costumes. And that she just can’t do a new one on the spot with so little time, so Nozomi stepped in (again) and said that she has back up, because she thought this would happen! Then Honoka arrives and asked why everyone is not dressed yet. Eri tells her that the costumes are gone, but Honoka says it’s not. Then she just says “I’ll go and change then.” And Eri ignored her. Then Nozomi takes out a box with costumes, and Eri pales. Rin wore an outfit and Eri asked what it is. And Nozomi was like, “Daruma?” Then Hanayo said that her costume is pretty, Eri asked what it is. “Kokeshi?” Then Nico said that the cat outfit was cute. Then Nozomi tells her that it’s a “maneki neko.” Then Nozomi explains that if the left paw is raised, it brings costumers, if the right paw is raised it brings wealth. Nico then asks if she can’t just raise both, and Nozomi says that it will counter both and bring bad luck instead so don’t. But Eri is really panicking now, so she told Nozomi to quit joking, but she said she wasn’t. LOL Then Eri asked if Kotori can turn these into dress-like outfits, of course it’s not possible. And then Honoka returns wearing her outfit, so everyone was shocked to see her, she explained that she was so hyped up so she brought the clothes with her.

Then they did an MC about the costumes. Nozomi and Maki are witches, while Nico is Nozomi’s familiar. Umi, Eri and Honoka are Pirates, and RinPanaKoto are I forgot the word. Someone remind me here. www

Intermission 3, Nico is telling Honoka she and the other girls are taking so long to prepare so nico and maki should just take the stage, but NozoRin said that they should instead, so Nozomi said they should just compete.

Battle one is Muse member name shiritori. Where Nico lost to Nontan cause she said “Rin” after Nozomi trapped her with “KotoRI”

Battle 2 is Manju eating (?) contest with Rin vs Maki who complained because “It’s not her character” but did it anyway. When Rin was winning, Maki karate chopped her nape and then she dropped to the ground whateven is happening here.

Last is Umi vs Eri “physical battle” where Umi is serious about it and Eri isn’t sure about it so panicked. But it was “just arm wrestling.”

And then Lilywhite wins but Nico argues but Printemps were already on stage.

Then random MC I forgot the contents of. The end of the MC was funny though, with Kotori quitting as dressmaker. KTR-CHUN COME BACK.

Then Fall (Aki no Anata no Sora Tooku) song by LilyWhite with their mic stands and lilies I dededeenn to all day. Kussun gets mvp live performance for me ;_; she has improved so much I cry. But there’s a lot of mic problems eventually.

Then they MC about age/call like the usual lilywhite. And Kussun mentioned about today is the last day she’s 25. And then she asks “EVERYONE WHO LOVES LILYWHITE?” And Mimorin was like “Well, of course everyone does, kussun pls” LOL

M: Liez. You all lie. Then what about via boat? Boat?

Mimorin pls. LOL

Anyway they taught the next song’s choreo. With the hand that holds the king blade, we all must draw a heart pattern (like in School Idol Paradise), every time they sing “Shiawase.” But it was hard to follow. It was a great performance though, Futari Happiness. AUTOMATIC ROTATING STAGE, LESS WALKING.

Then next song was TORABURU BASTAS I laughed so hard pls also hype song AND THOSE CLOTHES THAT LIGHT UP IN A PATTERN. Also in the second verse Pile-sama forgot to sing her line it was cute. <3

Then BIBIBIBIBIBI MC (Is this going to happen from now on? LOLOL.) Then to fuyu ga kureta yokan.

And then anime VTR of Snow Hale was shown + Kussun doing Nozomi SnowHale murdered me to no tomorrow. Her eyes were kinda smaller than usual or earlier, Kussun don’t cry ;_;

Then WonRush with the same outfits. Ahhh, Snow Halation it was so emotional for me. It’s my oshi episode what can I do. ;_;  But then, how the hell do you Snow Halation -> Wonderful Rush. Pls. LOL Setlist much troll.

And then song preview collection part 2.

Each song there was a member comment on it. Laughed at Garasu no Hanazono. Kussun commented on it and said, “Please take care of NozoEri Radio Garden as well.” I could not have laughed more. ww

And then after that, everyone came back to perform NoBra with Kira-Kira Sensation outfits. No brand Girls had the short intro/mc thing. Kussun and Mimorin went “LOVE ARROW SHOOT!” At the audience, and we all itadakimashita it. Then Kira Kira Sensation. Suddenly, it was the last song!?

The encore began with a short movie clip of the anime characters thanking the viewers for asking for an encore and so per Honoka’s words, chose to “introduce theirselves” Honoka-chan pls. And so after that, the encore began I SAAAAYYYY HEY HEY HEY STARTDASHH. Followed by Happy Maker that had a NicoMaki moment in the middle. Then they all did the signature choo choo train move (It was badass www). But no, NozoEri Heart. </3

Second half of Happy Maker all the way to Oh, Love&Peace and Dreamin’ GoGo was the cart song and throwing souvenirs over to the fans. There were four moving carts. Rippi/Kussun, Shika/Ucchi, Mimo/Emitsun, BiBi.

This was adorable, though Pile-sama forgot her line again (In Oh,Love&Peace) www

And then during mc after returning to the stage, Kussun and Jolno whisper to each other in a yabai way since their faces were a little close. Then Kussun starts with “I am sensing the future…” Then Jolno bundled her towel… And put it on Kussun’s head as she looked at the ceiling. Pls.

Then they revealed the LL Movie PV THE SONG WAS ERICHIKA HAIR DOWN CENTER WHO HAS GAY DANCE STEPS WITH NOZOMI. It was a fan (like Kaguya) song. HAIR DOWN ERICHI DOE.

Movie comes out in Japan 6/13. And then second Best Album on 2/17!

During the last MC, it started with Soramaru, and then Shikaco. Shikaco went like “jan~” to lighten up the mood. So everyone after her, Kussun, Rippi, Jolno, Pile-sama, Ucchi, Mimorin, and Emitsun did it as well. Mimorin too stronkg though.

“…Mimo…!” (Steps forward)

While Pile-sama was talking, Kussun, Jolno and Soramaru kept on derping on their side. Kussun kept on doing these derpy stuff pls this 25/6 year old. Twirling her hair, tapping Nanjolno, making faces with Soramaru. LOL PLS

After that it’s time to end the song Donna Toki Mo Started Playing. First half they imitated the anime it was great I cry. During the first verse, they all split by year level.

First year on the left side, 2nd year middle, third years right side. Soramaru was at the right most side as Kussun and Jolno look at each other… Then bumps each other with their arms and gay it up on stage. I have been slain. I NEED TO SURVIVE.

Nonetheless everyone held the legendary feather at the end of the song.

Then the song outro, waving at everyone. While the stage was getting lowered down, Jolno held put out a thumbs up, until it was the only thing left, and then they disappeared. The Jolnonator is real.

Then the concert has ended.

There weren’t much Jolks/NozoEri in day one. Maybe Day two has all of them, it is Kussun’s Birthday, after all!

I was sitting on the second floor’s first row, on Yui-chan’s side of the stage. This time I was sitting beside someone who was also very familiar with idols. The tension was so hyper active, we cheered with all our might.

It started from “PUPPY LOVE!!” and “Kimi ga Sekai de Sekai wa Kimi de.”

It seems that “Wake Up!!” has been replaced with “Kimi ga Sekai de Sekai wa Kimi de.” Since we were still unprepared during Nagoya Performance, having the set list out, we were able to prepare even the colors to use, it was really hyped up. This was the very first time I was able to hear such loud and energetic calls.

MC Corner. The topic became “Osaka’s hype is amazing~” talk.

K: The hype of “Kimi ga Sekai de Sekai wa Kimi de” is Osaka-like, isn’t it? It makes you hyper, and the song is fun and enjoyable. It’s similar to Osaka’s atmosphere, isn’t it?
Y: See, everyone’s hype is amazin’, ain’t that it? Ain’t it?

A sudden switch to Kansai dialect? (It sounded more like Kyoto dialect though) The hall fussed about it.

Y: Carrie-san, now that you’ve been to Osaka, how is it?

K: Since we started from Nagoya, they have a really different atmosphere, don’t they?

Y: During Nagoya, we were really nervous, but since this is the 2^nd Live already, I suppose we’re going to be okay? We would like to show everyone our growth since then. I want today to be something that you can only enjoy when you’re in Osaka.

From here, they’ve started asking everyone “Where did you come from~?”

Y: If we have someone who is definitely sure that they came from the farthest place, raise your hand!

Whether is it true or not, it is definitely not impossible, there are people here who came from Hong Kong. They also did “Men~?” and “Women~?” calls, and the two of them were impressed by the amount of females who came. Compared to a few years back, they sure have increased up to now.

Y: It seems like there are a lot of different genders who came today.

Mm!??!/ fuss… fuss…

K: Isn’t it, people who came from different places? (laughs) It’s of people who came all the way here to see us, right?

I will go to anywhere you two go!

Pajama PARTY Corner

This time’s challenge is, “Party Cake Challenge.”

The Rule is 1 person gets 120 seconds to do the challenge, with a total of 240 seconds (or 4 minutes) to finish one cake. If they can do it, they will get a wonderful present.

Y: We will be doing Nininbaori~

[Translator’s Notes: Nininbaori or “Helping Hands” is a comedy act where two people wears a haori (a large coat) and pretend to be one hunchback person. With one being the face and the other pretending to be the hands.]

Me:!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Th- the Nininbaori which I’ve only seen in my dreams!?!?!

Even if they said Nininbaori, it’s just the two of them wearing a fluffy poncho (?) together though. First batter is Yui-chan who will be fed with the cake. Yui-chan’s breasts looked a little more obvious [T/N: Sitting up straight], I wonder if it was Kaori-chan’s turn to be fed it felt the same as it looked like… I’m kind of worried…!?

In-front of Yui-chan there was shortcake and 3 other small pieces of cakes. (※Of course they put it them in a way where Kaori-chan can’t see them.) And then, the Staff secretly changed the short cake with a cake with a lot of large fruits on it. Yui-chan made an expression that seem to have said “I think I can do it,” but it suddenly changed and she made a sound, “Guuuhh~” like a stray puppy. Kaori-chan asked her, “What’s wrong?”

Challenge Start.

With the fork being in the opposite place, the cake fell onto Yui-chan’s knee, even though the cake had started to look bad [in form], they only did nothing but decrease the amount of cake. However, seeing Yui-chan with cream around her mouth, our life span has shortened incredibly. As a result, since not everything was eaten, the challenge failed.

They changed positions, this time its Kaori-chan’s turn to be fed.

By Yui-chan’s protest, it has become just a short cake again. The moment the first bite went into Kaori-chan’s mouth, a friend said “It’s the first bite…” and I reacted “!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” to it.

Even though it was already time’s up, Yui-chan still continued to put cake into Kaori-chan’s mouth, as expected they were stopped and the challenge was a failure.

Y: It’s the bad adults’ fault for doing something so unfair in the first place!!

Y: Unfair, unfair, unfair, unfair, unfair!!!

With their vehement objection, the rule changed to “If the two of them can finish one cake, the challenge is successful!”

Retry.

A cream covered Yui-chan was full of excitement, I will never forget it. Finally, with the tattered cake on top of the plate, Yui-chan scoops them all up and puts it all of it into Kaori-chan’s mouth. “Carrie-san, just eat all of it like this!!!” and the challenge was successful.

The box of the wonderful present was put in front of them.

“One, two—!!” They opened the box’s cover together, and suddenly their facial expressions turned serious, then they suddenly closed the lid. Pulling theirselves together, they opened the box again, and its contents didn’t change. The wonderful present was a whole cake. I thought it would be that (lol)

Then we could hear them complaining from somewhere. “We don’t need any more cake~!” “Ice cream would’ve been nice!”

Really, this clip has taken all of my energy away, Yeah.

At first I had been screaming, “Dangerous, dangerous!” King Records-san please put this in the BD!

After that danger-filled VTR, it’s solo corner.

After “Tinkling Smile” has ended, Yui-chan opened a topic, “Recently, there’s something I’ve been really thinking about.”

Y: Actually, I wanted to try doing a part-time job.

Eh~~~~!?!?!?!?!/

Y: Eh~? Why does everyone react like that? (^^;) There was a time when I was doing acting jobs as a child, there were always only my lessons and the jobs that I attend every day, after thinking about it, I realized that I never experienced a normal job. Since even now, I go to school, after that, I go to work then once I go home, I sleep. It has always been like that. Like, everyone around you does part-time jobs, right? That’s why, even just once in this life time, I want to try it.

Even if you don’t do it, it’s okay!/

Y: Even if I don’t do it, it’s okay? Do you really not want me to do it?

Don’t want! (nod) / What would you like to do?/

Y: A part-time I want to do?

A Nurse?/

Y: A Nurse!? That’s not a part-time is it? (laughs) Don’t want~ It’s scary to be a nurse I can’t do it~

A Maid!! /

Y: I want to become a maid! I really want to do it! I really want to work in the trade in services industry, so I want to work in a place like a café.

Although I do want to see Maid Yui-chan, but these [customers] are not extras. She would have to deal with real customers, it makes me worried. She will be meeting people that she has never met before. And when the overly worried otaku causes a stir…. “I’m only here for one day,” and then Yui-chan will shy away. Maybe that would make otaku hold back.

Y: Alright, I’ve reached a conclusion! To give up trying to work normally! I don’t have that kind of free time after all, right? (^^;) If I were to get a project that is kind of like that, I would definitely want to try it. Become a Maid-san, it sounds good! I will tell the adults about it. It’s nice when you can do something you like, isn’t it? Making your dreams come true. Everyone do your best too, okay? With work, or with school, if everyone does their best, it makes me happy as well.

She said that she has never worn maid clothes, but I feel like she has done it for gravure before. Was it just my imagination…?? If she really hasn’t worn one before. If they asked in their Seiyuu Animedia Serialized corner, “YuiKaori’s Hamster☆House.” They would definitely give them permission to do so.

The second song to Yui-chan’s solo part was “Hatsukoi Maze.” YuiYui drawing a heart during the chorus [of the song] was really cute, wasn’t she? It seems that the set list for this part is fixed. I at least expected them to change one song.

Following is Kaori-chan’s Solo Part.

Since everyone has had hyper activeness since Nagoya live for “Sunny Ray Beam!!” this time, everyone synced and jump right at the end part.

K: This is Osaka, isn’t it? And if you say Osaka, it’s MBS, right?

Magi!!/

K: That’s correct too. I, right now, am a radio personality in an MBS Radio Program. Can you hear me out?

Ye, Yea~!!/

K: Thank you… (laughs) Yoiko’s Hamaguchi-san, Arino-san, Yoshida Terumi-san and Minamisawa Nao-chan asked me to do though. I will say “Oretachi” and you guys will reply with ○○○○！Alright? Oretachi~??

Gochamaze!/ (Only a few people said it.)

K: After I say “Oretachi” please say “Gochamaze!” (small voice) “Oretachi~???”

GOCHAMAZE!!!!!!!/

K: Perfect~! The Gochamaze members suggested to me, “Why don’t you try this in your live?” With this, I can report its success proudly~

I only listened to the first episode of Gochamaze! After that is… I’m sorry. (^^;)

Although it is a really interesting radio show, one episode is an hour long it becomes painful to listen to. Since I got used to 30minute radio shows after all. I suppose the people who would have time to listen to that are the Kyaorisshu… People said that this [call/response] would happen in an MC, so I somewhat knew what to do. I suppose this is an Osaka-only kind of thing.

K: I will watch all the 54 episodes of Digimon Adventure!!!

Me: Uwaaa~ an Otaku~~~!!!!!!

K: I have this rule with myself that I would re-watch Digimon every time I get a long break. Although I was only able to watch 1 episode yesterday… Episode 37!! “Sparkling Angewomon, Perfects Attack Together!!!!” (Trance)

Me: So you are the type of otaku who remembers sub-titles….

K: Ever since I was a kindergarten, I’ve always loved this episode where Angewomon evolves~

Me: Uwaa~

K: I was so nervous yesterday, I couldn’t sleep, and I thought that if I watched Digimon, I would calm down. At like 1am.

Then, after I watched, “I will do my best!!” were my thoughts!!

That’s not good, Ishihara Kaori-san. It’s… eh… (lol)

Would always re-watch, remember sub-titles, has a favorite scene, and then hurriedly speaking, watching at midnight, no matter how you look at it, it is the signs of an otaku. I do understand however.

It hurts for me to see whenever the otaku personality and the idol appearance overlap each other, so it would be nice if you can stop that~ (^^;)

The next song for Kaori-chan’s solo is “Shiny Blue.”

It might’ve been better if she sang a cover of Digimon’s OP (lol)

I felt like “Ah~” it’s because she has said something like this before. (lol)

PARTY PRESENTS Corner

YuiKaori bought souvenirs from a general store to give away as presents for the Osaka tour. (I’m not very certain of the store name, but it should be “AWESOME STORE” Harajuku, Omotesando.) A pizza shaped magnet, a nabe grip with an unusual shape, sunglasses, a dog jumping out from inside it designed mug there were a lot of things. Meanwhile, Yui-chan found a small portable stove which was on the frying pan corner.

Y: I can play as a mother. I’ll play as the mother~!!

K: I’m home~ Mama~ what are we having for dinner today?

Y: Welcome home~ Today is pizza~ (Then she put the pizza-like object into the frying pan and flipped it).

Eh…/ fuss fuss

K: Eh… with a frying pan!?

Y: Yes. You see~ Mama can use magic! Abracadabra*~

[Translator’s Notes: *Chichinpuipui is generally known as “magic word” in Japanese Fairy Stories. Incidentally it is also the title of a Yuri Manga, and a TV Show that airs in MBS TV.]

It had the image of Yui-mama, and then Kaori-chan, who was wearing a baseball cap, came back home with mud all over her. Suddenly doing a mother-daughter skit, this JD Unit is the best.

After playing around with many miscellaneous things, they finally chose a simple Muddler with a cheese decoration around it. Then we gave applause to whoever gets the prizes.

After the clip’s, opening MC.

K: When you say Osaka, isn’t it this? (Doutonbori Glico Neon Pose).

She said that as she went down the stairs with that pose.

And with that, Kaori-chan emerged as the winner. Since she won, she will now do the Glico Neon imitation with all of her power, while behind her Yui-chan played as the LED (in-charge of making everything sparkly). Moreover, Yui-chan knew so well that Glico Neon has changed into an LED. I wonder if someone told her about it.

After the Digimon talk, playing house, Glico and then adult (?) talk, they performed “Yubikiri Calendar.” No matter how long it would’ve been, I felt like this kind of song-hype would always fit the two of them. No matter what year it would be, I think they would still be childish with all of their power. Even though they would still become adults and a few things would change, without a choice, it feels like they would still go back to being like this [a little childish], like a “promise” with [singing] this song.

【DANCING PARTY】

DANCING PARTY

No matter how many times I’ve seen it, I still get goose bumps. It seems like my friend took a liking for it too. And even said I wish “NEO SIGNALIFE” MV would be something like this too.

Dance Part is “VIVIVID PARTY~” changed to “Attouteki na GO!!” since last time (Nagoya). It would be nice if they can change this song again in the last day of the concert.

They repeated “MIRRORING DESIGNS.” I’ve started to really like this song and its dance. It’s fun! That song is good, NEO SIGNALIFE is good, and it seems like they’re coming closer and closer to being a full idol. And then after that, I asked my beloved friend “How was the new song?” I wanted to hear the response. “It is kind of Hello!Project-ish. It was the best.” I wonder if Ookubo (Kaoru)-san was involved in NEO SIGNALIFE.

Dance Corner’s Opening MC.

Y: Wasn’t the PAJAMA PARTY video clip interesting? That was really mean. They changed the cake right in-front of me!

K: When you went “Hmm~” I thought that something must be up. Since I’m behind you, I couldn’t see a thing. Speaking of that, being behind in those clothes is really hot isn’t it~? Even though the adults did something bad, in the end we were able to pull through, right?

Y: When a human is cornered, they really do show an amazing power, don’t they?

K: I thought that we should do all our best to get the prize, but it ended up still being cake.

Y: That’s done on purpose, wasn’t it?

K: If that wasn’t on purpose, they seriously have a bad personality, don’t they? If they thought they really thought about it and it ends up like that.

Y: But it was fun!

K: It makes you want to do it again, right?

Y: Since I really like doing comedian-like acts. I want to try bread eating contest!

K: Me too!

Y: Like in a quiz game where if they got the answer wrong, a person who is on top of a slippery stand will be put up higher and higher, for example.

K: Or a balloon gets inflated.

Y: Or the slimy thing!!

Please make a sports meet or quiz game in the Cross Ange event. Mishi* is good at those kinds of things, right?? When the “inflating balloon” talk came out, my friend said “Isn’t that from Lyrical Party!?” (lol)

During “Our Steady Boy,” to hype the audience, Yui-chan’s bazooka’s faced over our side although I anticipated it; it fired all the way to the 3^rd floor. That bazooka, even though it’s small, its firing power is really strong (^^;). By the way, it seems that it contains signed balls.

When the “LUCKY DUCKY” single was performed, it really was striking! When I heard the live version, it was really enjoyable! The part where they say “Wai-yai-ai! (HEY!!)” The whole assembly hall was in unison.   While during the “Zenryoku zenkai de go, go!” part with the arm going in circles choreography, it’s really fun, I love it. Just watching it is really nice.

Before Encore MC.

Y: Today, while we were in the bullet train, I was really excited! Although it’s the second live for our tour, I thought “Why don’t we make it the best live, this time?”

K: Since the Nagoya live has ended, next is Osaka! Every time I think that, I couldn’t wait for the week to end, nonetheless I had no choice but to wait for it to come! The whole ride in the bullet train I was really cheerful! We ate Sujata Ice cream. Even though it was morning! Yui-chan was having vanilla, while I was having green tea. To be able to perform in Osaka that I like very much, it’s all of everyone’s support that allowed us to be here. I couldn’t be thankful enough.

Y: Oh that’s right, when we first went to the goods area [for this live]. We did a salesgirl-play, didn’t we? And then we asked the Staff-san to take photos of the goods for sale. I was looking at them in the dressing room. There were a lot of people lining up even though it’s so early in the morning. Everyone was looking forward to, today too, huh~? I’m glad that we were able to convey that feeling as well, it made me really happy.

K: The staff-san said “Everyone’s lining up properly…” right?

Y: Everyone, thank you for behaving in the lines properly.

K: I’m really having so much fun right now. I don’t want it to end.

Y: Let’s do about 2 more lives?

K: But it’s about time for them to remove the props. They would start removing the stage behind us while we’re still performing. (Laughs)

Y: Ahahaha~ From now on, please continue to support YuiKaori!

It was somewhat like this.

I suppose the MCs in Nagoya were better? But in terms of video clips, Osaka wins. I don’t think any other clip would beat that Nininbaori video.

It was really easy to watch from the front of the 2^nd floor’s aisle side. There was a lot of space to jump and move, my friend’s tsukkomi to my actions were really interesting. It was amazing. I had a lot of fun!! Out of all the lives I’ve been into, this definitely goes into the BEST 3!

There’s only one more live left.

In Makuhari, I would be with 4 Ogura-kenmins; even right now I’m already very excited! (*^_^*)

I went to YuiKaori Live Tour 「HEARTY PARTY!!」 Aichi Live!!

Today, YuiKaori Live Tour 「HEARTY PARTY!!」 was held in Aichi.

I will write the report about the goods on another day.

It’s been 5 years since the last performance in Century Hall.

There is a slope, so the people behind could see the stage easily. I was on the first floor, row number 15. It was a better position than where Yui-chan is at, usually.

It started from PUPPY LOVE!!

It seems that they have been using PUPPY LOVE!! and WAKE UP!!song pattern to start, so it would be easy to get into the live, but I think they should change it already.

In my opinion, they would start with LUCKY DUCKY!!  Maybe it’s only in Nagoya and Osaka, but both of them just came out walking. I think it was too simple.  I was hoping it would be more fascinating since it’s the first song.

After that was MC.

Y: Everyone, konbanminoru~! We are YuiKaori!

K: I thought the live tour started earlier, though.

Y: I’ve been looking forward to today, so I’m really happy!

Y: By the way, today is 11/22, Married Couples’ Day, so they said! (While passionately staring at Kaori-chan)

Fans: FU~~~~~!!!!!

Y: Are there any couples here? …There is no one, huh? Like with your own family, for example. It would be nice if you get along well with them, isn’t it?

K: When we went to Nagoya this time, I found something really nice.

Y: Ahhh! I know! Let me guess!

K: Yes, go on!!

Y: It’s the catering!

K: Pinpo~n! It seems that there is a lot of miso here.

Y: That one covered with miso…What was it again? It had entrails in it.

Fans: Doteni!!!

Y: It’s called Doteni? Why Doteni? …Oh well. You know, I like kishimen~ Before this, I heard that people from Aichi Prefecture love Doteni udon stew, but not kishimen so I was worried. But then I saw a kishimen store at the station so it might be different from what I heard.

K: Eh? There’s one at the station??

Fans: Yes, there is one!!

K: Kishimen was really delicious! (It seems that she ate some from the catering)It was the first time I ate it. I like udon, if it’s udon, I can eat until six bowls. Kishimen is flat, doesn’t it look like udon? But it’s thick and elastic, it’s delicious!

As someone who likes miso as Yui-chan, nice food from Nagoya must be really irresistible. By the way, because Nagoya’s Doteni uses red miso, they also talked about wanting to try Osaka’s white miso Doteni (if I’m not mistaken, it’s called Doteyaki in Osaka?).

Next is “Our Song.”

It’s been about two years since the last time they sang this song on their 1st LIVE TOUR “WAKE UP!!” It’s a song about how the both of them competed on who is more adult-like. The content hasn’t really changed since two years ago, but because it’s a childish song, should they really sing it now? When I thought about it, it’s like, “The time has come!” In my opinion, this song is similar to “Yubikiri Calendar” and “marble,” which are symbolic songs in terms of YuiKaori’s relationship. It’s been a while since I could see their rivalry, I’m glad.

Continuing with HEARTBEAT ga Tomaranai! and Intro Situation and then a VTR.

[Pajama Party Corner]

Both of them are wearing pajamas, trying to shoot a roulette with some ingredients written on it using a bow gun’s arrow. (Both of them said its archery, but I think its bow gun.) Both of them can shoot three arrows, and make a “Party Drink” from the ingredients they hit. And then, if two of three staffs say that it’s delicious, the challenge is successful. If they succeed, they will get top quality mangoes.

First, they discussed about what kind of ingredients they will aim at.

According to Yui-chan who is recently into studying about smoothies, a smoothie made of banana-peach-tomato is good, so they decided to aim at those.

[First shoot]
It started from Yui-chan. Somehow the roulette suddenly stopped, “That’s odd? I wonder why.” She said with a composed expression and shot the banana.

[Second shoot]
Kaori-chan. For the second time, the roulette stopped again. Isn’t it broken!? She aimed at the roulette that lay still and shot the peach.

[Third Shoot]
Yui-chan. This time, the roulette continued to spin, since at least half of it are already taken, she was able to perfectly aim at the tomato

“I will be an archury* athlete!” She said with delight. It’s archery, Ogura Yui-san. I mean, that’s a bow gun…

They put the three ingredients they got into the mixer, added syrup and water then mixed it. The result was three out of three staffs said it was delicious. They got the top quality mangoes.

After the VTR, it was Yui-chan’s solo corner.

She sang “Tinkling Smile.” Including Anisama, it’s the second time she sang it, so I feel that the call isn’t settled yet.

Y: With that, it’s the solo corner~ this time; all of the costumes are really cute. They made me my ideal costume, it has become all frilly and cute like this~ and I rarely let my hair down! (The straight and settled one) Everyone, which [hairstyle] one do you like?

Fans: Anything!!!

Y: Eh? Anything? (laughs). By the way, my hair has grown really long! Even my friends say “Yui, your hair has grown really long.” You know, there was one girl who has really long hair at school. When I say, “My hair isn’t as long as that girl’s~” my friends would say, “No, no, yours is longer now!”

Y: I thought, “There they go again~ (laughs.)” When I saw my recent photos, it really has become long. I just went “Ha~!!” I was really surprised. People who have long hair might understand this, but long-haired people don’t usually realize how long their hair has grown… I want to have a haircut~

Fans: Eeehhh!!??

Y: Don’t say “Eeehhh!!??” like that. I won’t cut it that much. If it’s only this much, (around 10cm) it’s okay, right? When it becomes a hindrance to my daily life, I will be troubled. So I’m unsure.

Fans: The one right now is still okay.

Y: Right now is okay? I see. Oh, right, I was going to talk about Carrie-san’s inside story.

Y: In between the tour’s rehearsals, it’s a bit late to say this now, but we’re into Tsumtsum* lately. Carrie-san started playing it first though. I’m bad with PC and machines, but because Carrie-san could handle it, one would think that she would be good at Tsumtsum, right? But no matter how much she tried, she would never get above 120000 points. Even though I could get 800000 points at my best.

At first I was looking at her while thinking “maybe it’s because she hasn’t gotten used to it yet?” But because she [her score] didn’t change at all, I told her to try it from my phone and it still didn’t get well. Next time, I borrowed Carrie-san’s phone and tried it. I broke her high score. It seems like the main problem is in Carrie-san herself.

And then, right now there is an event for that game, right? (Looks like its called Villains Battle). We played it together on the Shinkansen, and we got a new Tsum! With that, I think Carrie-san’s Tsumtsum level would rise.

Losing to Yui-chan, just how bad are you, Kaori-chan… lolol

Y: The next song is an arranged solo version of a YuiKaori song. It’s called “sugar time ver.” By Ookubo Kaoru-san. It has become a really sweet song. Please listen to it. “Hatsukoi Maze.”
Did you say Yui-chan’s “Hatsukoi Maze” solo!?!?!?

It had a similar impact to when she sang StylipS’ “Hatsukoi EVOLUTION” in solo. It’s my most favorite song, sang by my favorite person, Yui-chan. This is the life. I stood up straight and stared at the stage so I could devour the song completely. I wonder if [the setting] will change depending on the venue? If so, I look forward to it. (*^_^*)

Next is Kaori-chan’s solo.

Everyone’s penlight movement was in perfect sync for “Sunny Ray Beam!!”

K: Aren’t you all very in sync!? Could it be that you watched the BUNNY FLASH BD*, then came here??

[Translator’s Notes: Released last October 8th, was YuiKaori’s first live tour in DVD, BUNNY FLASH. During the concert, Kaori taught the audience how to do the hand choreography for her solo song, “Sunny Ray Beam!!”]

K: It seems there was an inside story a while ago. I heard about my Tsumtsum score being so low. I was trying my best, you know!? So if you collect coins for 30000 points, you can pull a lottery draw. You can get rare Tsum characters. I tried so hard to collect the coins, but when I pulled the lottery draw, I kept getting common characters. Was it Cheshire the Cat?

Once, I got a rare character, that, Dumbo. It seems that it has a skill that wipes out the screen from top to bottom in one go, but I couldn’t use it properly.

K: Then, I will do an inside story, too. From your perspective, what is Yui-chan’s image like? Cute? Kind?

Fans: Sexy!!!

K: Sexy!? Somehow I heard some weird answers though. For me, Yui-chan is a cute and reliable person but suddenly she said, “Carrie-sa~n~ piggyback me~ Let’s change “Our Song’s” last step so you can carry me on your back.”

Then I said “Eehh!? Then after this move, I should piggyback you like ‘heave-ho~!!’?? It might wear me out, or worse we might fall!!

And then, it seems that Yui-chan changed her shampoo recently. She told me, “Carrie-san, smell my hair~ It smells so good doesn’t it!? *sways hair*” But it really did smell good. One thing or another, it was a really beneficial role for me. At every opportunity, she makes me smell her hair.

Grr!  Aren’t you just boasting!!

What kind of side benefit is that…! She really is being pampered, that Ishihara-san. She really did get all the benefits… I’m really jealous…

Then, Kaori-chan’s YuiKaori song solo was “Shiny Blue -raitoon dream ver. – I thought that it was supposed to be “right on dream,” but “ride on dream” is also possible, so it’s kinda suspicious. I must double check when the Animelo Set list comes out. This song was arranged by Shunryuu-san. Maybe Ookubo-san is in-charge of Yui-chan and Shunryuu-san is to Kaori-chan.

The original tempo got slowed down, so it’s no longer the same rhythm as the original song, but it’s a good arrangement. My opinion might change if I get to hear it again.

[PARTY PRESENT Corner]

They chose Christmas presents from the general store. They looked at various things while talking about the previous Christmas gifts that they’ve received up to present. They both chose a “Laid back Santa Snow Dome.” They chose that because they said that it matched their laid back personality. I thought about it, “For whom are these presents for?”  The roulette began to turn around. It had seat numbers on it. There were three people who got selected, they got called one by one. Congratulations to the people who got presents.

After the VTR, it was MC.

They appeared from both left and right of the upper first row of the castle-like set.
They stepped down from the loosely curved, and painted staircase. Kaori-chan looked like a princess, while Yui-chan looked like Alice in Wonderland.

Firstly, Kaori-chan. She walked like a small bird, a small bird walking down the stairs. No matter how you look at it, it is Ishihara Kaori-san.

Next was Yui-chan.

She looked around restlessly and leaned on the side [of the stairs]. She stepped down the stairs as if surveying the surroundings, as though she was lost on her way. I think it’s because she’s accustomed with her solo MV, for me, Ogura-san wins this round.

K: Some time ago, the Pajama Party video was shown, right? We made smoothies.

Y: That, at first it was a plan to get us to drink a bad combination of juice, but we were opposed to it.

K: They said that it would be boring if we just drank normal juice!

Y: We will definitely make a delicious one! We won’t let ourselves fall for the Adults’ expectations!

So it ended up being something that was beneficial to the two of them… As usual, the staff has spoiled them again. (^^;)

Y: That roulette’s rotation was stopped, wasn’t it?

K: But it was hard to hit it, so it’s amazing that you can hit it! The roulette didn’t stop, did it? It’s only because your field of vision sees it as spinning!* (meaning uncertain) But still, Yui-chan was able to hit the tomato!

[Translator’s Notes: In Satsunyan’s opinion, Kaori might’ve meant that, in general, your field of vision is always in motion, so it’s hard to hit a moving object. Which is true.]

Y: That’s right! That was really amazing! Do you all understand!? I said that I wanted to be an archery athlete, right? It supposed to be archery. (laughs)

The Staff entrusted this MC to YuiKaori and they can do as they like in it. But when they started playing “Red light, Green light” even if they didn’t know the rules, it tediously ended. The silly and my pace atmosphere, it was undeniably what defines YuiKaori. Lol

Continuing again, the next song is “Futari.” A song that was around the same time as “WAKE UP!!” It’s a wonderful song describing the two girls’ friendship. I want more songs of this kind. After “Koisuru Stole” a VTR is shown again.

DANCING PARTY

In my opinion, this VTR is the highlight of this tour.

It was a video of nothing but about YuiKaori dancing to several types of cool dances. That’s right! I was waiting for this kind of YuiKaori! Kaori-chan was doing hip-hop dance, too. Even though Yui-chan said that she isn’t very good with this kind of dance, she worked hard to do it, too.  Both of them had been practicing dance since they were kids, so they already had the basics. So I thought they could cope up with this, too. And Yui-chan really has a flexible body, doesn’t she? Her hip movements were really amazing. This VTR, if it’s out on BD, I want to watch it endlessly.

After that, it continued for a while longer to Dancing Time. Then, it was the dance number that had the most intense momentum “VIVIVID PARTY,” then the combination of cool and sexiness “MIRRORING DESIGNS,” and a song that we could jump to, “Attoutekina GO!!” they didn’t even have time to take a breather.

K: I knew everyone here could do a jump song! This live’s generation! Isn’t this something new?

Y: A while ago, “DANCING PARTY” was being shown. Everyone likes that kind of YuiKaori too, right?
Fans: We like iiiiiit!!!!

I really like it.

Y: It was our first time doing that kind of cool dancing.

K: It had a different genre with the other songs so far, right?

Y: Not just cutesy, if we could do something like this is, that’s good, too, right?

K: I think it will be a spice for YuiKaori from now on.

After that they talked about their self-produced charms for this concert. Why does Kaori-chan’s charm use a bear? If you look at the pamphlet you will know why. There was a shot where she was holding a teddy bear on the pamphlet, but there was nothing about it on the interview. My assumption is that she was told to, “Please design something,” but she couldn’t think of any, and by chance the photo of her using a teddy bear was near her so she used that. How about it?

After introducing some of the goods, it was the first performance for the new song “NEO SIGNALIFE.”

After we saw that dance VTR, they said that it was an ELECTRO DANCE TUNE. I thought it would be more intense than VIVIVID PARTY! First time I heard it. I was like, “Hm…” It’s neither good nor bad. The chorus was too weak, it lacked impact. I hoped it was more piercing. Something that would make us want to fly. Otaku would always want to jump.

Before encore it was “Our Steady Boy” and “LUCKY DUCKY!!”

This time, Kaori-chan didn’t fly away somewhere~ lol*

[Translator’s Notes: From one of YuiKaori’s guesting in a web show hosted by Washizaki Takeshi called “2h,” during their birthday live “INTRODUCTION,” although they’ve been performing “Our Steady Boy,” all their life, since it’s their first song and they’ve memorized the choreography by muscle memory, Kaori made a choreography mistake. Instead of doing the “Birthday Live Choreography” she did the “BUNNY FLASH Choreography” instead. The encore was opened with an MC.

Y: Because we’ve been doing an ‘in-store event’ (?) recently, I keep trying to remember about “how does a tour feel like again?” while doing all the rehearsal. I was worried because it’s been a while since the last time we did a live, but its fun. I think I will run swiftly with full speed until the end, it will be a nice tour.

K: Until this day came, whether it was rehearsals, work or college, all I could think of was “I can’t wait for it to be the weekend already.” But as the day approached, I became nervous over it. I was listening to the songs on the train, but the songs just wouldn’t go into my head, even the lyrics wouldn’t come at all. But the moment I saw Yui-chan, I went back to my usual self. I was already back to my usual self when we were riding the Shinkansen.

Y: What? A Confession? (laughs) That’s true. When we met this morning, I was thinking, “Is Carrie-san alright?”

K: Really? But, when I saw your face today, I immediately thought, “I can do this!”

Fans: FU~~~~~!!!!!!

Y: I actually overslept today. I was feeling confused and panicked, but it was a miracle that I was able to arrive early.  That’s why I thought, “I can do this!” And then, when I saw Carrie-san, “I’ll be fine♡” I had that kind of feeling~♡ I’m really glad that we were able to have a really good time today.

What? Speaking fondly of each other!?

These girls really are the best, oi, I was listening to them while unconsciously doing a pose like a young maiden dreaming of something. It was really creepy.

The first encore song was “Jumpin’ Bunny Flash!!” and the last encore song was “Hoshi Furu Yoru no Happy Link.” On “BUNNY FLASH!!” the hall was only bright white for “Jumpin’ Bunny Flash!!” But because this time the penlight only has pink and blue, it became pink, blue, and white jumbled together. It was fun copying the “Hoshi Furu Yoru no Happy Link” dance moves (*^_^*)

It’s been a while [writing] for a YuiKaori live.

It’s like what Yui-chan said, because I started to feel that the mini lives are insufficient, today was really fun! It’s been a while since the last time I had muscular pain in my entire body…lol

I think I can see the dances and costumes that I wasn’t able to carefully see on the Osaka Live.
