We’re not even kidding when we say that they got rings. Last weekend, YuiKaori held their Ring Ring Rainbow!! release event and Birthday Event. It happened that in the Afternoon session of the event, they “exchanged gifts” with each other. They’re both born in August (Yui in 8.15 and Kaori in 8.6) so they often celebrate together.

In one of the talk sessions, they were asked to guess what the other bought the other. The person being asked will only be able to answer “Yes” or “No” or “Both” or “Sometimes” or “Maybe” but as expected there’s a lot of rule-breaking happening, but that’s okay (Not at all).
There was a box where they can draw papers. There will be a number written on them, and this is the number of times their partner can ask questions about the gift.
P.S. The event is facilitated by King Records Promoter, Ebata-san AKA Ebatin.
First it was Yui’s turn to guess what Kaori had bought for her. (She can ask 5 times.)
Yui: Is it food?
Kaori: No.
Yui: Is it solid?
Kaori: Yes. It is probably.
Yui: Is it small?
Kaori: Yes!!
Yui: Is it gold?
Kaori: …!! Yes!!
Yui: Is it something I can carry around with me?
Kaori: Yes! Eh, isn’t this amazing?
Ebatin: It could be a gold tooth, you don’t know.
Kaori: “I made this for Yui-chan,” something like that?
Ebatin: Yui-chan, your answer!
Yui: A ring!
Kaori: Correct!
Welp. We all didn’t see that one coming. Kaori then explains that she bought her a ring since she’s turning 20, so she thought of giving her something somewhat adult-like. Ebatin asks if Yui ever asked for a ring, and Yui answers that she didn’t.
Next is Kaori’s turn to ask questions! (She can ask 5 times as well.)
Kaori: Is it food?
Yui: No.
Kaori: Is it something I said that I wanted?
Yui: Yes.
Kaori: Is it something I can normally wear?
Yui: Hmm~~ Yes! Maybe!
Kaori: Is it something I can carry around with me?
Yui: Yes!
Kaori: Is it gold?
Yui: Yes!!
Kaori: A ring!
Yui: Correct!
And so, the probing continues. Such obvious answers.
Ebatin: It was a fixed game!!
Yui: Look, look! We’re matching~
Kaori: Eh? Isn’t it just coincidence?? (Actually knew it)
Yui: It’s not like we cheated! There’s a reason! We were given 20,000Yen to buy each other gifts. So we talked.
Kaori: I thought that a ring would be nice. I told her that I wanted a ring.
Yui: As to why we’re matching, it’s because we bought it together! I didn’t have a ring as well, so I wanted one as well. We thought of using it as a commemoration, so it all worked out. After buying them we still had some excess money, so we thought that maybe it’ll be okay to buy one more. We went to the store and they had a perfect fit size!♥ The next ones we really don’t know about!
I’m not sure what we are exactly commemorating here, but yes, let’s all celebrate.
Kaori gave Yui a towel, since she’s collecting towels lately. Meanwhile Yui gave Kaori a bag and pouch from gelato pique, since Kaori said she wanted a bigger bag to use for work.
Meanwhile, the bag that Yui gave Kaori had been subject to scrutiny (by us, of course.)
As researched by Twitter fans, this is the bag Yui gave Kaori. If you look at it closely… it has words such as “Let’s just go somewhere.” and “Take me around to all the places you know.” And the largest text “I am always with you.”
We have been posting about how Yui and Kaori always wanted to go on a trip together, but they never had the same day off so they just often have to find ways to meet each other in between or after work. They’ve also had a lot of cancelled plans and unfulfilled plans due to the same. It is often very obvious that it has taken a toll onto Yui’s patience, and that she does genuinely feel very sad not being able to go to places with Kaori.
And so!
The evening session of the Release and Birthday event… King Records had bought them vacation tickets, and has taken matters into their hands. They promised to fix their schedules so they can go onto this trip together.

P.S. They appear to be genuinely embarrassed and shy when asked about their “matching rings” in the evening event. 12/10 their agency didn’t know about this (again). There, there.
