The announcement was made through a cast comment and Q&A that was posted in the site’s website.
Q1. Are there any similarities between you and your character?
Ishihara: Nozomi-chan is a cute and smart girl, although people views her as perfect, she also has her times when she’s a bit awkward. I think that awkward side of her is similar to me.
Q2. If you can wish for one thing that would be granted, what would your wish be?
Ishihara: I want to go back to the past! I can remember my elementary days clearly, so I want to go back to the time when I played tag everyday during my elementary days!
Q3. Please tell us what to watch out for this series, and please let us hear about the character you play as.
Ishihara: Cocotama is a series that can be enjoyed by either adults or children. Having a cocotama by your side during happy times or times when things don’t go well, I thought that it would be nice if that were to happen for me too. It is a really heartwarming series! Please support Nozomi-chan from now on as well♪
She has also said in her blog post that it’ll be nice if adults and children can watch this series. The Spring season for this anime is scheduled to start on April 7th.
